More about Sunuraju[edit]

I simply don't understand this person. You, I and at least one other user have offered to mentor him and he has refused all contact. He's continued to go on his merry way with more incomprehensible Malayalam film stubs; I've blocked him for 24 hours and deleted his last entry. I hate doing this to him, but his claim of autism isn't going to give him free reign of the site. Anyway, I hope I've gotten his attention and that he'll cooperate when the block lifts. Thanks for your help. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:36, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I know what you mean. You and he are greatly contributing to an underdeveloped category given the enormous size and scope of the Indian film industry, but all he needs to do is to write offsite and check his work before posting it here. I tried to fix a few of his stubs, but I was utterly confounded as to some of what he was trying to say. Like I said, I hated like hell to block him, but he needs to start interacting and doing the right thing regarding his grammar. I hope this shakes him awake. If not, I'll try a different approach. Thanks for understanding and believe me, I'm not trying to be mean or to bully this guy. He simply needs to consider the end user...and poor, nearly incomprehensible English does the end user no good. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 17:17, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, except I don't want to constantly tie up AfD with his stuff. The other choice might be to tag anything substandard as a speedy and let another admin delete it. I speedied his last contribution to try and make a point, but I still have access to it in the deletion log. It might not be a bad idea to post it to a user subpage and let him practice. Or, I can delete a poor entry from the article space, create the subpage myself and point him to it. I don't want you to lose your ally and this has really been eating at me. This is a really unusual case and I'm trying not to overstep my bounds as an admin. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 14:34, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:EAS.png[edit]

Hey, When you reduced File:EAS.png, you cut off the bottom couple rows of pixels so the words are more or less illegible. Is there any chance you can go back and try again? Thanks.--CastAStone//(talk) 16:43, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That will do, thanks!--CastAStone//(talk) 16:50, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Resizing an image[edit]

It would depend on the resolution of the original image. A small image such as the one you linked me to would likely be somewhat blurry if it were blown up. So yes, I'd call iit a legit edit, but the outcome would depend on the quality of the original. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 04:25, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image size guidelines[edit]

Hello. You've uploaded a resized image at File:MachinalProgrammeLoRes.jpg, citing Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria as the reason for the reduction. I cannot see, however, anywhere in the page cited guidance on the appropriate size. Could you please point me to this? Many thanks, DionysosProteus (talk) 18:15, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that it appears you made significant contributions to File:Pacific bell logo.png or one of it's predecessors and that it has now been made into a vector graphic at File:Pacific bell logo.svg when working with this logo please remember to use the SVG where it is superior, Thanks Koman90 (talk), Network+ 20:11, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
