Keep: Ayaz Sheikh's career and contributions to the Pakistani music industry are well-documented and supported by reliable sources. His significant involvement in various television shows, collaborations with other artists, and educational background highlight his impact and relevance in the field of music. Deleting this article would overlook his achievements and diminish Wikipedia's coverage of notable figures in the Pakistani entertainment industry. @Alexandermcnabb
I believe the article meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines as it is supported by multiple reliable sources and provides significant information about the subject's intrudtion career. Additionally, the deletion discussion appears to be based on misunderstandings or disputes rather than genuine concerns about the article's quality or compliance with Wikipedia policies. A tag has been placed on Ayaz Sheikh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ayaz Sheikh. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. @ThaddeusSholto I am writing to request a reconsideration of the speedy deletion tag placed on the Ayaz Sheikh article. I believe that the article provides valuable information about a notable Pakistani singer, music director, and producer.
While I understand that the article may have been previously deleted, I would like to highlight that significant changes and additions have been made to address the reasons for its deletion. The article now contains more detailed information about Ayaz Sheikh's career, education, and references from reliable sources.
I kindly request the community to review the article again and consider allowing it to remain on Wikipedia. If there are any specific concerns or improvements that need to be made, I am more than willing to work on them collaboratively.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Syed Shaveer (talk) 15:45, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your draft was declined at least twice. The article was deleted earlier today via AfD (which you apparently kept removing the tag from) and you recreated it within an hour of the deletion. Do you have a conflict of interest with Ayaz Sheikh? If so, it is mandatory that you disclose your COI. Repeatedly recreating deleted articles is disruptive. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 15:53, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, please note that recreating deleted pages is considered disruptive behavior, as @ThaddeusSholto already mentioned above. I nominated the article for deletion once more, and I do not expect a different outcome. Broc (talk) 20:17, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Subject: Discrepancy in Momal Sheikh's Birth Date on English and Urdu Wikipedia Pages[edit]

Hi everyone,

I noticed that there is a discrepancy in the birth date listed on the English and Urdu Wikipedia pages for Momal Sheikh. Here are the links to both pages for reference:

- English Wikipedia: [Momal Sheikh - English](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Momal_Sheikh) - Urdu Wikipedia: [مومل شیخ - Urdu](https://ur.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%85%D9%88%D9%85%D9%84_%D8%B4%DB%8C%D8%AE)

I wanted to bring this to your attention and discuss how we can ensure accuracy and consistency across both pages. Thank you. Syed Shaveer (talk) 15:28, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ayaz Sheikh[edit]

Hello, Syed Shaveer,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Chaotic Enby and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Ayaz Sheikh, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Chaotic Enby}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

And blocked again. Did you think we wouldn't notice? —Cryptic 22:44, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're thinking incorrectly. Wikipedia has numerous editors, and each editor knows what they are doing. Instead of deleting your article, you could have asked me for the reason. It was my first article on Wikipedia that I made for the first time. It's my habit to correct anything that goes wrong or gets deleted for the first time, which may cause insult. Even if it takes time to do so. Thank you. Syed Shaveer (talk) 23:03, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Correction: that you made for the fourth time. It's not about "being more careful", there's a point where it's genuinely not productive anymore. And your previous unblock was contingent on not recreating it at all, not "being more careful" like you're promising now. If you hope for an unblock (probably through the Wikipedia:Standard offer in six months), your best bet is to outline how you wish to contribute to the encyclopedia and which articles you plan to edit/create (which, again, should not include Ayaz Sheikh). Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 23:51, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby I understand the concerns and acknowledge my past mistakes. Moving forward, I am committed to abiding by Wikipedia's guidelines and contributing positively to the platform. I plan to focus on editing and creating articles that align with Wikipedia's policies, and I will not include Ayaz Sheikh in any future edits or creations. Thank you for your guidance, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute constructively to Wikipedia in the future. Syed Shaveer (talk) 00:01, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please be honest, did you write this answer using ChatGPT? I do not want you to restate a commitment/promise, I'm looking for you to explain, more precisely, what you actually want to edit/contribute to, and how you will do it. That should be needed to convince an unblocking administrator that you'll be editing constructively. Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 00:09, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby I am a journalist and i focus more on news, i might work on an article if it seems suitable, i will start working on that article now, and the whole world is using ChatGPT now and this is not a new thing, this strengthens grammar, if you think it shouldn't be used, let me know. Syed Shaveer (talk) 00:37, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There's a difference between making grammar checks, and having an AI write an entire apology message for you. Also, several of your articles such as Solar Flare Triggers Radio Blackout Over Australia appear to be written like they belong in newspapers rather than in an encyclopedia. Do you understand why they are not the same, and what an article needs to belong here?
Again, I am not able to unblock you. Your best bet is to appeal your block to an administrator by adding {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of the page, but you will need to provide evidence that you understand why your previous contributions weren't suitable for Wikipedia, and what you will do differently in the future. Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 01:26, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby I understand the difference between making grammar checks and having an AI write a complete apology message. Also, I acknowledge the concern about articles like 'Solar Flare Triggers Radio Blackout Over Australia' potentially sounding more like newspaper articles rather than encyclopedia entries. Encyclopedia articles need to maintain a specific tone, depth, and structure distinct from news articles. I appreciate the feedback and recognize the importance of adhering to Wikipedia's guidelines to ensure that contributions are suitable for an encyclopedia. Syed Shaveer (talk) 02:03, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please, stop using a robot to reply for you. That shows absolutely zero sincerity or understanding from you, which is what an administrator will be looking for when reviewing your block (if you end up requesting an unblock). Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 02:14, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby Alright i appeal to you and the administration to unblock me please don't mind dear. Syed Shaveer (talk) 02:20, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Chaotic Enby How can I use the template when there's an editing block? Syed Shaveer (talk) 02:38, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Put it here at the bottom of your talk page. You can still edit it. Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 02:44, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby What should I put here? Please guide me correctly. Syed Shaveer (talk) 02:56, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No. I see in what you have said no evidence that you understand what was unacceptable about your editing, and won't do the same again. I see only signs that you are trying hard to say things which you think will make a good impression. I also see no acknowledgement of your past dishonesty. My advice to you is not to make another unblock request for at least six months, and not even then unless you can indicate that you really do understand the reasons for the block. I also advise you that posting more unblock requests which don't address the reasons for the block is likely to result in your being blocked from editing this page, to prevent waste of administrators' time. Request reason:

Please consider unblocking my account. I assure you that any misunderstanding will not occur again, and I will adhere to all community guidelines diligently. Thank you. Syed Shaveer (talk) 05:58, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This does not address the reason for your block, nor does it explain why we can trust your word, now that you've shown we cannot trust your promises. Yamla (talk) 09:45, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'll also note that you say, above, "My goal will always be to recreate any page that gets deleted". That precludes any possibility you'll be unblocked. --Yamla (talk) 09:47, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Please assist me, kindly. I created a page on Wikipedia, which was subsequently denied by Wikipedia. I wish to understand and am committed to resolving this issue. I am making every effort to abide by Wikipedia's guidelines and contribute positively to the community. Kindly grant me permission to be unblocked so that I can contribute positively. Thank you.

Accept reason:

Your reason for accepting Syed Shaveer (talk) 10:47, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I see that while I was writing my message above, you were posting a fake administrator accepted unblock request, presumably imagining that it would unblock you. Obviously I will remove your ability to edit this page, and obviously the likelihood of any administrator ever unblocking you must now be close to zero. Do you think we are idiots? JBW (talk) 11:04, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Where'd he get that?! -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:10, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Deepfriedokra: I guess copied from the talk page of an editor who had been unblocked. JBW (talk) 20:27, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@JBW: That just sounds surprisingly sophisticated to me. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:48, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. In addition, your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.  JBW (talk) 20:26, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you were worried that the likelihood of your ever being unblocked was not quite close enough to zero, then congratulations on finding a highly effective way of pushing it even closer to zero, by making a blatantly obvious attempt to evade the block, using another account.
