User:Gidgetdigit/Jeff Shantz (author) feedback and disambiguation help please[edit]

At least 4 different existing wikipedia entries (Green_syndicalism, Anarchism_in_Canada, Union_flying_squad, Racial_profiling) link to Jeff Shantz. The problem is that is also the name of a former Calgary Flames hockey player, who is NOT the author on these subjects. Can an editor with more experience help me to get some disambiguation line on the page for Jeff_Shantz linking to Jeff_Shantz_(author) and help me to edit down what I've started in my workspace to a proper entry for the author? Thanks! Gidgetdigit (talk) 07:07, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My first full article about an influential professor/author in the field of developmental biology. I used examples of other articles of prominent scientists in order to construct this page.

Since it is my very first posting, I would appreciate feedback on how to ensure I have provided enough references, and that the writing and format of the post is adequate for its purpose.

Very nice start! I merged two references and added a link into the Infobox. Put the articule under the WikiProject Netherlands. You may want to look for other wikiprojects with related content. You may also want to start a page with List of Non-Profit Organizations in The Neterlands. DutchTreat (talk) 17:39, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would appreciate feedback on this new article about Italian painter, Benedetto Gennari II. I started this version as a Spanish to English Google translation of es:Benedetto_Gennari_el_Joven. Several reliable sources are included from the Grove Dictionary of Art and links to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) of the United Kingdom government.

Moved the article to become a main page and out of my user space. Feel free to comment on that page. DutchTreat (talk) 09:35, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, two pages exist in Wikipedia describing the foundation and the advanced IRB approaches. These pages go into the details and formulae of the particular approach. However, there are a lot of topics not covered in these pages relating to the minimum requirements, treatment of expected losses, etc. These topics deserve a page of their own describing them in detail because of which this new page has been created.

Hello, I have posted this help request a few times, but do not think (or cannot find) a response to my help request. If you could please review my article to see if it sounds like "advertising" I would appreciate it. I have tried to follow all of Wikipedia's rules and I want to be sure the article is up to par before making it public.

Thank you very much.

  • It is not possible to leave you a reply on you talk page - because your article is being developed there.
    • Draft has been moved.. you can now develop it in your sub-page.

Information on the Halls Heeler the ancestral breed of the Australian Cattle Dog and the Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog - linked from both those pages. Not a lot of information is available as the breed did not continue much beyond 1870. However I think it needs its own page rather than being included in both the other breed pages. Feedback requested :-)
