October 3[edit]

Uploading videos[edit]

How do I upload a video? Gioguch (talk) 02:46, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Gioguch: Do either Wikipedia:Videos#Uploading video or commons:Commons:Video#Uploading a video help? Jackmcbarn (talk) 02:56, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rotating files[edit]

Hello, can you help me rotate the file at File:Washougal School District E St. Transportation.jpg? I uploaded it and now it can't be rotated the right direction. Gioguch (talk) 03:29, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see that you re-uploaded it. —teb728 t c 06:06, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Teb728: Yes, I didn't know how to upload it before, but then I found a solution. Gioguch (talk) 22:37, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Page Size tool has disappeared and pop-up referencing anchors aren't working either.[edit]

It's needlessly obtuse to find a tech support section on here. Per the above, is anyone else experiencing this? Darkwarriorblake / SEXY ACTION TALK PAGE! 10:58, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you're looking for tech support, try WP:VPT. David Biddulph (talk) 11:04, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Is WP:technical support needlessly obtuse? What else did you try? Please make suggestions as to how we can make it less obtuse.--Shantavira|feed me 11:14, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Citing paragraphs in a document[edit]

Hi. I've been expanding the Rukhsana Naz article, and I've used the same reference on multiple occasions, I know how to use named references and I've got the gist of short citations when I'm citing a book so I can specify page numbers - but this is a long document with 38 paragraphs and the pages aren't numbered. So... I was just wondering if there's a way to cite the paragraph number in a similar way to using short citations for pages? Might not really be necessary, but I figured it'd be more user friendly than just referencing the whole document. :) I'd be grateful for any direction. Thank you. --DSQ (talk) 13:40, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@DeltaSnowQueen: one way is to use the {{rp}} template. Its parameter can be any text, not just a page number. <ref name = foo>The Documented TRUTH</ref>{{rp|para 13}}.[1]: para 13 . Really.[1]: para 15  -Arch dude (talk) 15:17, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
