Heads up here - the post you have published is politically motivated. Do not publish it. There is a lot more to this story. Seth very probably leaked the DNC info to Wikileaks. We know the leaks did not come from Russia. How do we know? Assange said so. He is a man of integrity. Evidence points to Seth RIch as the source. The story about what happened to him when he arrived in the hospital - a eyewitness report by a resident doctor has been deleted - 014 the fake Russian narrative was in the works focused around events in Ukraine.. I'm sure even before that in some ways, but I don't remember the stories.. 2009, Russia and China, along with Iran and some other nations started serious discussions about finding an alternative to the US Dollar as the Global Reserve Currency.. basically cutting out the American banking oligarchy's ability to "skim off the top" over international trade between nations.. 2012, another round of talks between Russia and China, with a few more interested nations exploring the idea.. Following those meetings, over the next couple years, Russia and China work out agreements and begin trading with each other in their own currencies.. Russia starts selling natural gas to various European countries and allowing them to pay in Rubles.. US banksters highly pissed. Media smear campaign begins to scale up over events in Ukraine.. ridiculous amounts of skullduggery and unfounded accusations engaged in by Political and Media talking heads.. all while Hillary is selling 20% of US Uranium stocks to Russian business consortiums in exchange for a $700,000 bribe.. Polstorm. If you have concerns about the accuracy of an article, the article's talk page is the place to bring it up. But note that Wikipedia articles summarise what reliable published sources say about a subject. If the sources are in disagreement, the article should reflect that. @Maproom: It is achieved by grouping: the second <ref> in a lead section has an attribute group="Autobiography", so it has a separate number 1 in its own group of references. --CiaPan (talk) 08:23, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Thank you for the explanation. I see that the single reference in the "autobiography" section is the same as ref 2 in the main section. That accounts for the disappearance of the "named reference". I've now redone all other refs to this work, to explicitly refer to the autobiography. (I'm not confident I've done all this in the best way. If anyone has a better idea, I shan't complain.) Spam classification

Hi, I wrote an article about a record producer and it was knocked back as Spam when I submitted it. At first, I had some YouTube links as references which it did not like, so I took them out but it still categorized the article as spam.The producer I was writing about has worked with important artists and is continuing to work with international artists and he has independent articles written about him in Billboard magazine. Is it possible to have this reviewed? Thank you.

Hello, Linda. Wikipedia articles should be based almost entirely on what independent published sources say about the subject: Wikipedia has very little interest in what the subject says, or even in what they have produced, except insofar as independent sources discuss it. If there are indeed indepedent sources in Billboard (truly independent, not based on interviews or press releases) then an article can be written based only on what those independent commentators have said. Please read your first article, and I suggest using the articles for creation process, to work on a draft and then submit it for review. --ColinFine (talk) 13:22, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Both username and password lost

If the account has stored an email address then enter it at Special:PasswordReset. It it hasn't then you cannot access the account even if you recover the username. You can just create a new account. If you forgot the username then keeping the name doesn't sound important. PrimeHunter (talk) 12:45, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

List of Historically Black Colleges and Universities -- Correction needed for Delaware State University founding name

This pertains to Wikipedia's List of historically black colleges and universities.

Concerning the HBCU entry for Delaware State University:

Under the column for "Comment" (which list the original name or affiliation of the school), it lists Delaware State University's founding name as the State College for Colored Student. Some recent research in the enabling state legislation that established the college reveals that, although long thought to be the 1891 original name, that is not correct. According to the enacted state legislation (see Laws of Delaware, Chapter 119, page 249), the title of the law gives the correct name -- An Act to establish the Delaware College for Colored Students (adopted May 15, 1891). That is the only full institutional name given in the legislation; subsequent second references in the proceeding sections of legislation are "the College." Because there was already a white Delaware College, it was decided after the legislation was enacted that having two Delaware Colleges -- one for whites and one for blacks -- could be confusing. (The white school was located in Newark, Del., and is now known as the University of Delaware; the black school was located just outside of the state capital of Dover). To address that concern, new legislation was passed and enacted early 1893 (The Laws of Delaware, Chapter 635, page 743) that changed the name of the black school to the "State College for Colored Students." Some recent research on the original legislation revealed the correct founding name. Prior to that, no University officials or alumni appears to have been aware of the original name given in the founding legislation.

To further substantiate, the names of DSU by years:

1891-1893: the Delaware College for Colored Students 1893-1947: the State College for Colored Students 1947-1993: Delaware State College 1993-Present: Delaware State University

In summary, the correct founding name of Delaware State University should be the "Delaware College for Colored Students."

Mr. Holmes. Thank you for communicating this way. The page List of historically black colleges and universities page reflects what is on the Delaware State University page, (down in the history section which references https://www.desu.edu/history page which does not exist and should almost certainly change to referencing https://www.desu.edu/about/history ). *That* page at DSU doesn't show the change in 1893. However the references to the Laws of Delaware should be enough. However the discussion on this should be on Talk:Delaware State University and I'll copy it there, OK?Naraht (talk) 16:02, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

comment about the Amos Larkins deletes

Amos Larkins II Wrongful Deletion "PLEASE REINSTATE!"

This page is being wrongly attacked by someone for obviously malicious reasons. Amos Larkins II is a musical legend and a pioneer in the bass music industry of South Florida. He is a real person with a proven and researchable track record. His discography is recorded, factual and verifiable. His page is not promotion it simply defines who he is and his accomplishments. However someone is maliciouslyb stalking his page and submitting entirely unwarranted, random request for requests for deletion.

People Maliciously and/or Randomly Deleting Profiles

There should be guidelines to prevent "real" pages from being randomly deleted. Too many people create fake profiles just to cause havok to others.

Musicprogirl1, there are policies that keep articles from being deleted. It all starts with WP:DELETION. No one has maliciously attacked the page. If you think a page has been deleted that shouldnt have been you can ask for the deletion to be reviewed at WP:Deletion review. ~ GB fan 19:31, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

There have been articles at two different names, Amos Larkins and Amos Larkins II. Amos Larkins was initially created in 2005 and sat until 2010 when it was deleted for being unreferenced. There was also a comment that the subject was offended by maintenance tags. It was created again yesterday and the last note left by the editor who created the article, Redrabbitiam, said; "Please delete this article for i have no idea what i did wrong everything i wrote about my father is true and can be proven as fact so i think it is totally unfair for 75% of facts be deleted. please except my apologies for any wrong doing but i have no idea whats going on here thank you for the Wikipedia service i don't understand thank you" After that it was deleted at their request. Amos Larkins II was also initially created in 2005. It was deleted initally as a copy of Amos Larkins. Today it has been created and deleted twice. The first time it was created by Redrabbitiam and was written in a highly promotional manner. As an example the last line was "Nevertheless, Amos Larkins, is without a doubt, the undeniable godfather of Miami bass." The next time you started it and never said what was significant about Mr Larkins. I do not see that anything malicious has happened here. ~ GB fan 19:47, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

    • 1 by User:Redrabbitiam
    • then 5 by User:I dream of horses
    • then 6 by User:Redrabbitiam, including at 14:52, 21 May 2017 adding a tag {{db-repost|1=Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/AMOS LARKINS II|help=off}}.
    • then 1 by User:Dorintosh
    • then 1 by User:Redrabbitiam.
  • At 04:34, 22 May 2017 it still had the db-repost tag, so I deleted it.
  • Page Amos Larkins II has been deleted 5 times, but never by me, and see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Amos Larkins II.
  • Page Amos LarkinsII had 13 edits in May and June 2005. It was deleted twice, but not by me.
