Conflict of interest with respect to Rethinking Marxism[edit]

If I am not mistaken, you are both the creator of the article Rethinking Marxism, as well as that journal's editor-in-chief. As such, you have been, since you first began working on the article, required to state on your talk page that you have a conflict of interest with respect to the article. My advice to you is to carefully read Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, so that you are able to place the required template at the top of your talk page. At the time of the creation of the article, I was not the editor of the journal—I became a coeditor in 2019. Also it is not a paid job. The last time I edited the article was in 2016. Since then and since the article has been created in 2006, it has been edited by many other contributors. I placed COI—but not undisclosed paid editor on three entries that I initiated. I have also placed the required template on my Talk page. Please adjust the RM entry accordingly. Ymadra (talk) 03:28, 23 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As far back as 2013, you were an associate editor of the ~~article~~ journal; you therefore were an undeclared paid contributor at that time, and, at minimum, a COI contributor in 2016 when you edited the article. Unless, “undeclared paid contributor” doesn’t mean on Wikipedia what it means in the English language, it doesn’t describe my situation. I have never been paid for my work for the journal. So, please stop using that designation. I also mentioned in my COI declaration that I had been a member of the editorial board at the time of the creation of the article.
