Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. Chris Pinset moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Chris Pinset, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. September 2023[edit]

Information icon

Hello Wikirapguru. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Wikirapguru. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose ā€“ e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Wikirapguru|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken ā€“ you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits ā€“ please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PICKLEDICAEšŸ„’ 18:26, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I do not have any financial stake in promoting material I add to Wikipedia. I am a music journalist, living in New York. I just have a passion for hip-hop music and direct access to artists and producers I write about, that`s all. Wikirapguru (talk) 19:41, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

April 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, Wikirapguru. I noticed that your recent edit to Andreao "Fanatic" Heard added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 06:48, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes @Sumanuil, I am aware of that. Fell asleep during editing. Woke up now and about to re-upload the image to WikiCommons again. (I took that photo of Andreao myself plus he authorized it`s use on Wikipedia). Thanks for the reminder though. Wikirapguru (talk) 16:31, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
