Paul Faraci[edit]

Hi Wikieditor6557. Can I just ask you why you blanked the Paul Faraci redirect? Thegreatluigi (talk) 02:17, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I’m working on expanding his article Wikieditor6557 (talk) 02:19, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I see. I figured it'd be either that, or you were thinking the redirect should be deleted. Well, just a heads up, in future, if you want to expand a redirect out like that, you might be better off drafting it in draftspace (see WP:UD), or in your sandbox, and then copying it over, rather than leaving the redirect page completely blank. You also might want to consider using edit summaries, so annoying busybodies like me don't badger you on your talk page...
Incidentally, you are aware that Paul Faraci used to have an article, and it was deleted because he wasn't considered notable, right? (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Paul_Faraci), Thegreatluigi (talk) 02:42, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am aware of that. However the article that he had before had no references or information about him. I’m adding the proper references so it meets the notability guidelines. Wikieditor6557 (talk) 02:56, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. The only reason I asked was because you were starting from scratch instead of building off of what was there before, but now that I think about it, starting from scratch is probably the best way to go about it. Clearly, you're already way better than me at this, and I ought to leave before I accidentally say something else patronising. Good luck with the new article. I’m probably not better than you, I just thought that nobody would see if I didn’t do it in a draft because this page is rarely edited. Thanks! Wikieditor6557 (talk) 03:35, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
