AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

Firstly, if she's not a journalist, then why are you categorizing her as an East African journalist? The only thing I did was move a person from one "journalist" category to another "journalist" category — if she's not a journalist, then you're the one who categorized her wrong in the first place, not me.

Secondly, if you look at the article, she is being categorized as both Kenyan and Tanzanian.

Wikiprojects aren't actually allowed to make up their own special categorization rules that are inconsistent with Wikipedia's standard rules — rather they still have to follow the same rules as all other categories. If, as you appear to be claiming, the purpose of the categories is for tracking articles created as part of a Wikiproject, then one thing you all need to know is that Wikiproject tracking categories are not allowed to be on articles, but must be placed on the talk pages. Look, for example, at what's in Category:Wiki Loves Women (Nigeria) and Category:Wiki Loves Women (Uganda): talk pages, not articles. Bearcat (talk) 12:03, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
