Help

After days of research I improved the American Pit Bull Terrier article. Whenever I contribute to this article a user named "HelloAnnyong" revert it. He falsely claims that I used copyrighted material. It wasn't my source but he always revert the my text. So I ask a moderator to review the text. Thank you very muchk84m97 (talk) 02:44, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Kannadiga

Sir, The article Kannadiga is in a very pathetic condition.Lots of irrelevant information is being added in the article and it reads like some Kannada organization propaganda...The whole article is dedicated for anti-Tamil sentiments and usage of harsh words on the neighboring culture and regions. It is funny even to note that it is written in the article that Sanskrit evolved from Kannada...Lots of unconfirmed users are tampering with the article. So pls help to protect the article and pls if possible put a semi lock on the article so that only auto confirmed users can edit....

Hi!

Hi tinucherian!

The article 2003 Afro-Asian Games needs some attention with regards to assessment.

The said article has been rated C-class under WikiProject India for quite some time. I have worked really hard on this article, and I now feel that it is ready to be rated B-class. I would like to know whether you share this view. If you do so, I request you to please change the rating in the said project.

Any suggestions and comments on the betterement of the article are welcome.

'confirmed' usergroup...

...is only needed for those with less than 10 edits or 4 days on Wikipedia; after that, they are autoconfirmed by the software. Cheers, –xenotalk 16:00, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

I guess you must be referring to Syler.mi4 (talk · contribs · count) rights which I had changed. The user says he is not autoconfirmed even after 2 months and over 120 live mainspace edits. Mediawiki bug ? -- Tinu Cherian - 18:09, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes...Peculiar, and not the first time I've heard of this. However, it would be better to locate the error (bugzilla:) than work around it. But feel free to re-assign the right if they still have problems. –xenotalk 18:14, 19 November 2009 (UTC)

Bots keep making incorrect edits on Maribel, Wisconsin

Three bots have added incorrect interwiki links to the article. The English article is about a small community. I read enough Spanish to understand that es:Maribel is an article about the human name Maribel, a composite of Mary and Isabel, and it includes a list of people who use the name. How can the connection get blacklisted so the bots would stop making the incorrect edit? Royalbroil 13:47, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Best to fix it at the source of the problem [2]. –xenotalk 14:06, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! Royalbroil 14:14, 28 November 2009 (UTC)
Thanks Xeno/Royalbroil. Unfortunately my bot TinucherianBot_II (talk · contribs) ( like most interwiki linking bots) uses the WP generice pywikipedia framework for its operation. Therefore if someone make a wrong manual interwiki link, it will propogate to all other connected language wikipedia articles. The only way to fix is how Xeno manually fixed it. -- Tinu Cherian - 14:35, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
