January 2024[edit]

Information icon Hi The Royal Herald! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 11:41, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you i definitely meant to hit the minor edit button, that one was my mistake. The Royal Herald (talk) 13:40, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. It was not my intention to go against the mentioned rules. The person (Diego Alfonso de Medrano) is notable and should atleast have a short page covering the topic. Please remove the page if you are able to, I appreciate it! The Royal Herald (talk) 01:35, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just to be clear, do you want the page to be deleted? — Diannaa (talk) 01:49, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If I can work on a new version then I dont think the page should be deleted if an administrator can move the new article into place. Thanks for asking before-hand. The Royal Herald (talk) 01:53, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You can work on a new version at the temporary page as suggested in the instructions above. An admin can move it into mainspace when it's ready. — Diannaa (talk) 02:43, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information sharing[edit]

Good afternoon,

First of all, I'd like to thank you for the monumental work you did about the Medrano family.

We (in my family) are strongly related to the Medrano, and I am often searching new informations as we are passionate about genealogy. I'd be very pleased if we could share and continue to discuss your researchs. I tried to email you through your account but my message has been blocked.

Once again, many thanks for the fascinating documents you've posted.
