P&G topic ban clarification

On 2018-04-14, you closed a ANI discussion that imposed the following tban (Wikipedia:Editing restrictions#Retro):

  • Retro (formerly E to the Pi times i) is indefinitely topic banned from policy and guideline pages and their talk pages as well as simply discussing changes to them anywhere on the English Wikipedia, can be appealed after six months.

Because topic bans are broadly construed, I wondered if this would prevent me from participating in an RfD discussion about a redirect that currently targets a policy page. Retro (talk | contribs) 20:05, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

For that matter, while I'm asking for clarification, does editing a disambig page to add a link to a policy or guideline fall under this tban? Retro (talk | contribs) 20:18, 6 August 2022 (UTC)

@Retro: The answer to both would be yes, they do come under the topic ban. However, it's a long time and I believe you are free to appeal at WP:AN. I haven't seen any of your edits since then to have an opinion on whether an appeal should or would be successful. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 02:48, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for replying so promptly! I appreciate it both on the admin accountability level and on the human level. Retro (talk | contribs) 11:57, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

Unconvincing edit summaries

You have made a series of edits to the articles about astrological signs with edit summaries such as "rvt disruption". The edits removed varna parameter from the Infobox zodiac template transclusion. I don't know what a varna is, but the parameter has existed for a long time in the template and it is listed in the Zodiac. Justify your edits. Because of the number of edits, I can't fix it myself because of 3RR, so if you don't revert or explain your edits, I will have to seek administrator intervention. Read the history before you come up with such accusations, and since when did five days qualify as a "long time"? Anyway, thanks for reminding me why I shouldn't waste my time editing Wikipedia. And feel free to take it anywhere you want. —SpacemanSpiff 11:13, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is SpacemanSpiff creates many conflicts between templates and transclusions. Thank you. Jc3s5h (talk) 18:55, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
