That doesn't justify what you have written one bit, all the news piece says is that they weren't allowed to meet her. —SpacemanSpiff 15:38, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello!

Glad to see you. Are you back for good? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 12:16, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Probably not as active as before, and I'm likely to avoid a lot of the contentious crap, maybe just stick to cricket articles and a few minor activities elsewhere. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 12:35, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
That's good enough. We did lack admins with first hand knowledge of India related articles and there have been incidences which could have been averted. I am noticing that our cricket club is very effectively churning FLs. Enjoy your work there. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 12:52, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
For the field is full of shades as I near a shadowy coast,
And a ghostly batsman plays to the bowling of a ghost,
And I look through my tears on a soundless-clapping host
As the run stealers flicker to and fro,
To and fro:
O my Hornby and my Barlow long ago !
Enjoy! - Sitush (talk) 16:11, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
You know, the real reason I logged in was to get back the monobook screen instead of that godawful vector screen that logged out users see! I'm beginning to wonder if that was a wise move indeed. —SpacemanSpiff 16:15, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
I think that I must be on vector because it looks the same whether logged in or not. What is so good about monobook? - Sitush (talk) 16:19, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, they did a forced changeover to vector as the default a long time ago, I switched back to monobook; just a personal preference I guess, I don't have to go down with those drop down menus etc, everything at the top. —SpacemanSpiff 18:11, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Very glad to see you back

You've been missed. I see you reverted Babagi anadi - I think this new editor is going to need quite a bit of help. I left some advice on his talk age the first time I reverted him. Dougweller (talk) 16:01, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Quite a lot of help I'd think, there's some strange changes in Kuru Kingdom that I'm just getting to. My knowledge of that era is limited but this seems to have passed Dab's scissors, and isn't supported by the existing sources (as bad as they may be), so reverting there too. I was just telling DD above that I'd like to stay away from this kind of stuff, but apparently I can't! cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:10, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Thank you for that welcoming star, now go about and find that girl with the dolphin tattoo. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 03:36, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 19

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marthandanthurai, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tamil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi!

Hello. --Raninghai (talk) 17:49, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

Don't think its a spam link

Hi, this is in response to your message on my talk page. I Added a page as reference for several actress articles as I felt that source had good analytical content about these actresses. Also most of these articles were tagged asking for reference, hence I responded to them. I do not understant why you say that link is spam? I feel it has all reputed actress and i thought that list was ok. Thank You--ShaikatSarkar durgapur (talk) 06:38, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Hey, This message posted above my message on your talk page is shocking!!. I don't approve that language but I can see that you did the same with me also. You have reverted all my recent work in bulk. I just j0ined wikipedia today and seeing these strange things here. I am confused and feel discouraged.--ShaikatSarkar durgapur (talk) 06:48, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI DEATH

I had added two websites name for further reading regarding Lal Bahadur Shastri's death. In common way his death is not easily accepted by all. As an Indian we should focus on truth.

So when I got those sources I posted it on wiki as reference for other readers. Again I request you to allow the same by which whole world can know the fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahkhil (talkcontribs) 07:21, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

Please note that Wikipedia is not here to promote truth searches, we go by what reliable sources say. The first link you posted is a link to a personal blog and is not acceptable. The second link can be used in context as a reference to source a statement. Wikipedia articles shouldn't be a collection of random links under the guise of further reading. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 07:26, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

JAYEE RAJGURU

He is First MARTYR of Indian Independence movement. No question should arise about this matter. But he is not getting proper place in history, we are trying to get. Please help and show the editing(s) to the public. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ahkhil (talkcontribs) 07:25, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

As I mentioned above, Wikipedia is not the place to right the wrongs of history. Wikipedia records what reliable sources say. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 07:27, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

India

Sourced the material from Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh government websites, unless you can show other official government source to contradict the stated information, please do not remove. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lanet303 (talkcontribs) 20:04, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

You have been reverted multiple times since March, please don't keep adding random sentences just because you have a source. The article is a featured article, meaning the content has passed strict review and is found comprehensive, so any additions should be on consensus. —SpacemanSpiff 20:11, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Consensus with who? Why is that period random? its chronological. why is that period missing? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lanet303 (talkcontribs) 20:16, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Discuss on the talk page and get consensus. Do not add back, you are edit warring. —SpacemanSpiff 20:19, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Please quote your source that contradicts what I stated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lanet303 (talkcontribs) 20:20, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

If you don't understand what I'm saying, you shouldn't be editing the article. —SpacemanSpiff 20:23, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Copyvios issues

The edits for Radha Kumud Mukherjee, Ela Bhatt and Jairamdas Daulatram are from an authentic source rajyasabha.nic.in/rsnew/publication_electronic/Nominated_Members_1952_2002.pdf The correct reference needs to be given. If it hasn't been given, it is an act of omission on my part. --Salilb (talk) 18:36, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

It is not a referencing problem, it is a copyright violation problem as I have been trying to tell you. You can not just copy text from other places and add them to Wikipedia articles. Please go through WP:C to get an idea about our copyright policies and do not contribute more content until we work a way to analyze and fix the current contributions. —SpacemanSpiff 18:40, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
I get your point, and the pages can be reworded or paraphrased keeping the main point intact instead of deleting or reverting the edit. Could we discuss this on the talk pages and resolve it there? --Salilb (talk) 02:29, 26 August 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I'm going through my list of contributions to check for possible copyvios. Here is a link to all my contributions: w:Special:Contributions/Salilb

Yep, I do have a black lab (though not the one pictured, which is just an image I picked from Commons). —SpacemanSpiff 18:10, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Tamil people

You are keen on revert the article with template? If you do so, how people know that there is template and your suggestion for deletion? what's wrong with FA and the template? Does it breach the FA criteria? If so, how? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tamil23 (talkcontribs) 18:07, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

The FA criteria is clear on usability and verifiability, transferring bulk content outside to other pages fails both those criteria. —SpacemanSpiff 18:10, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
Show me from FA's guidance/guidelines? --Tamil23 (talk) 18:14, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
You have asked on the talk page, once you get consensus to add you can add it, and I will take it up for Featured article removal —SpacemanSpiff 18:15, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
I asked you the guidance, not removal. --Tamil23 (talk) 18:21, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Mulayam Singh Yadav

The copyvio at Mulayam Singh Yadav has been there almost from the outset in 2006. How the hell I missed it is beyond me - I'm usually pretty good at spotting the stuff but on this occasion I seem to have become more carried away in dealing with the political soapboxing/denigration aspect, which has been tiresome and persistent. I'll see if I can rewrite it, even if only as a stub, because clearly it would be bloody stupid if we did not have an article about the guy. - Sitush (talk) 04:48, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

Just a quick note, I won't be able to do much today/tomorrow, but if you're checking for copyvio note that neither of those two sources existed at that time. ebharat is clearly a mirror of our article, but the other one could have some sporadic copyvio from a bit later. —SpacemanSpiff 05:14, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
Bugger, that explains why I didn't see it as copyright when I checked all that time ago. In any event, I'll rewrite it because the tone was all wrong. I'll dump it as a draft and you can do with it as you please, when you please. - Sitush (talk) 05:20, 28 August 2013 (UTC)

fuck u

WTF ....why the bloody hell u reverted 28 of my changes... few i can udnerstand ..bastard.r u drunk or what mtoherfucker..this is what happens when little power is given to some useless low-selesteem jerk

if some categories are irrelevant then how come you can revert all categories?

and be a jerk enough to revert all changes in bulk without looking

and how do u determine some pcis are not relevant, if pics belong to the article they are very much relevant...ur blind, and arrogant, incompetent ...WTH ... a totsl idiot...dont misuse ur admin authotiry..its a privilege not ur right,,,i might hv to take up this issue with senior mgt..fucker — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vdhillon (talkcontribs) 23:35, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
