Vital Article Counts[edit]

FYI, there is now a bot that runs daily which will update the top-level Vital Article section counts. It shouldn't be necessary to update any of the headings anymore. power~enwiki (π, ν) 21:43, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unilateral removal of vital articles[edit]

It would be better to discuss first before making edits such as this. feminist (talk) 09:44, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About your revert of my edit on Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/5/Arts[edit]

Actually your revert is somewhat senseless, because some parts of my edit were meant to fix typo errors, and the movies I added are the ones which are regarded as the 10 best Russian war movies by Russia Beyond ([1]), and the list should contain more Russian and Soviet movies, since cinema of the Soviet Union is currently considered vital at level 4. However, I understand why you removed them, and cinema of Russia and cinema of the Soviet Union do not contain some of the movies I added (Officers, Fortress of War and In the Zone of Special Attention ), and if they were not removed, then following the same logic all 10 best Russian Drama, epic, comedy, Red Western, fantasy, sci-fi, art, children's films and documentaries (considered by Russia Beyond or influential Russian movie magazines) should be added as well, then other best non-Russian films (e.g. Nollywood ones) should be added, and the number of the articles in the list will no doubt exceed the quota substantially. I think that the first and the second movie mentioned by that web page should be kept, due to their extremely high artistic level, however, other 8 movies can be removed, and after the quota of WP:VA5 becomes 100,000, no doubt the quota of films will become 400, then all British, French, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Nigerian, Australian and American films considered the best and films included in List of films considered the best can be added.--RekishiEJ (talk) 14:29, 10 September 2018 (UTC) added "and films included in List of films considered the best" 14:33, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/5/Society and social sciences, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:54, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This also appears to be a past issue, you need to discuss major changes like these BEFORE making the edit. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 16:54, 13 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Aryan race[edit]

Thank you, I had been searching in vain for that place. Aryan race certainly belongs under Historical race concepts in Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/5/Society and social sciences. Rsk6400 (talk) 14:36, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I got the link wrong. Correct: Wikipedia:Vital articles/Level/5/History#History of society and the social sciences Rsk6400 (talk) 09:02, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
