Hello[edit]

Welcome to wikipedia. I have recently been pruning the Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Participants/Active list and was somewhat surprised when you just joined. I had discovered that many of the editors on the list had been inactive for many years and a surprising number had been blocked. Anyway I came over to take a look at who you are and noticed your article that was turned down. Do you know that you do not have to have anyone approve a new article? Make a few changes, add whatever references someone asked for and then just publish it yourself. Carptrash (talk) 16:53, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Go to the "search" field to the left and enter Barbara Zecchi. You will get a page that says somethinglike "These is no Barbara Zecchi article, would you like to do one?" Then click on the red link - this one here migh work too, and then cut & paste your article in. I notice that she shows up in a few places - maybe as a reference. Go to those and turn her name into a link. That will make connections from other articles to yours, which sort of sews it into the fabric better. Go for ir. Carptrash Hello Carptrash! done!! I followed your instructions about my article on Barbara Zecchi. Clear and easy. I did get a warning message though: "WARNING: Draft:Barbara Zecchi is 15,654 bytes. This may be a "copy and paste" move.). Shall do something about it? I really don't want to mess it around!!
Many thanks again!! What an awesome welcome to wikipedia!! I'm ready for my second article now! Lunaandmaya (talk) 21:36, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Don't forget (if you ever knew) about using these ::: when you answer someone on a talk page. It does the indenting. I'd leave that stuff at the bottom of the page for a week or so and if you don't hear anything, take it away. For your next article just start it like you just did. Wikipedia can be a nice friendly place . . ... or not. Helping new editors is always encouraged because that's where long term editors start. Thanks for the barnstar, that was nice of you. If I can help you with anything please let me know.Carptrash (talk) 22:03, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ouch. Perhaps you need to start the article again, but as a much more modest one. If that's not your picture, drop it. If you have copied any text, let it go. Just stick with the bare bones and the list of her publications. Please hang in here. Or leave Barbara alone for a bit and do a few edits elsewhere. Maybe some movie stuff. I'm doing some editing there too. Carptrash (talk) 05:45, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I accepted the draft. The previous reviewer's comment made absolutely no sense. SL93 (talk) 01:22, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
