I regret that. It was not my intention. I just wanted to emphasise one aspect, not to offend any body. --Muzammil (talk) 08:07, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Account creator change[edit]

Hi, I'm just letting you know that I have removed the account creator permission from your account. The English Wikipedia has recently created a new user group, event coordinator, and editors who need to create accounts for outreach events are being migrated to it from the account creator permission. If you need the permission to create accounts in the future for an event, you can request it at Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Event coordinator a few days before the event is slated to begin. Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Hindustanilanguage, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Thine Antique Pen (talk) 12:03, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Thine Antique Pen: First of all, I am not the author of Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein - I merely tried to fix the redirect with info on the article. Secondly, the article is nominated for deletion, the Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Sapno_Ke_Bhanwar_Mein - it is for notability and not copy vio. If you can cite specific areas where I need to look into, I'll be glad because I am all for Wikipedia values not for vandalism. Thank you. --Muzammil (talk) 17:30, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Both of your statements are correct. However, when you converted the article from a redirect, you added this, which is copyrighted material taken from [1] (or possibly another site with the same article, e.g. [2]). Thanks. Thine Antique Pen (talk) 17:45, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Thine Antique Pen: I only referred to the source cited and tried to modify the stuff in my words. As I see, neither Yahoo nor PressReader has the sentence I added. Please let me know if there is anything else. --Muzammil (talk) 17:53, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
All of that sentence, following "It is a", appears in both articles. The only difference between that sentence and the source you cited is that you replaced "'Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein'" with "it". You must properly paraphrase all material that you add to Wikipedia - please see WP:CLOP#Avoiding. Thine Antique Pen (talk) 18:19, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Don't you think that to different people concur on a few words when they are discussing the same thing - especially when the statement is as short as one or two sentences? --Muzammil (talk) 18:35, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly – I'm sure that many people have written "Sapno Ke Bhanwar Mein was an Indian TV serial" before you, and I don't take issue with that as the similarities are unsubstantial - there are few ways of putting this. However, summarising the plot summary of this TV serial in exactly the same way as these articles—describing Pooja, politics, and Pooja's involvement in politics using the same words and structure—is substantial, even if only a single sentence. Thine Antique Pen (talk) 19:08, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for understanding that similarity of words in only coincidental. understand that my idea of adding info to Wikipedia article is only constructive one - for example, I replaced a Facebook video ref with a website reference, and I have significantly edited the stuff to avoid copyright issues. --Muzammil (talk) 19:16, 20 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
