CU request removed

Hi, I am thankful to you for your sincere help for CU, but I am writing here to inform yo that your CU request on page Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations has been removed due to some reasons. You requested to kindly help me in this regard. Thank you.--مھتاب احمد (talk) 18:30, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hammad's a/c is blocked. I feel you are vindicated in any case. --Muzammil (talk) 18:36, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you once again, and I hope so.--مھتاب احمد (talk) 18:38, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've filed for an investigation here as to whether or not your account is associated with Hammadsaeed. You can defend yourself against these claims on the page linked above. I will say that any claims brought forward proclaiming past contributions as evidence will not be taken into account. Boomer VialHolla! We gonna ball! 20:16, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
مھتاب احمد I am so sorry. I'm so thick. Thickety-thick McThickenton, from Thickenville. It took multiple editors to point out that I mistook you as "محمد مجیب (Muhammad Mujib)", and I didn't fix my mistake right away, as well. I have acknowledged my mistake here[1][2], as well as replaced your name with the correct user on the sockpuppet investigation of Hammadsaeed. To recap, I'm a dumbass, and you are cleared of any involvement with Hammadsaeed. I'm really sorry about this mistake, and hope that you will continue to contribute to Wikipedia. Boomer VialHolla! A tag has been placed on File:Dalitstan-logo.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Train2104 (t • c) 00:03, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Motabhai, for your kind words for appreciation! They mean a lot to me. Personally, I believe that language is just a means of communication and not a divisive weapon. Please feel free to revert to me whenever you feel I can, in my humble capacity, be of some help. --Muzammil (talk) 19:26, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative account?!?

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
This discussion pertains to a reference of a doxing effort to which Calton was subjected to on a different Wiki by an unrelated user. Though misunderstood in the beginning, it becomes clear that the intention was to understand the mischief posted and not to offend anyone in any way.

WHY would you think the page you referenced is any kind of "alternative account"? Seriously? --Calton | Talk 01:13, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

<facepalm>. SERIOUSLY?

I've already reported this to the Stewards for Oversighting. If you've got admin privileges on VO Wikipedia, I suggest you start deleting NOW. --Calton | Talk 09:51, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  1. I am not a regular editor of VO Wikipedia.
  2. My query was merely to confirm a case of impersonation, not "DOXING ATTEMPT" or "any other thing" you may call.
  3. I've nothing else to say on this. IT'S OVER. --Muzammil (talk) 10:27, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You need something else to say on this -- you've managed to make a long-term Wikipedia editor who is under attack by an unknown party think you're collaborating with the attacker. I don't think that's the impression you meant to give, though; do you understand he's being maliciously impersonated? --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 14:18, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are right when you said "I don't think that's the impression you meant to give". I routinely study Wikimedia communities and write blogs - both individual ones and for WMF. I view recent changes, stats and other stuff at various places. I casually came across Volupuk userpage and the link on English Wikipedia. Other things were not in my knowledge. Even now I will greatly appreciate if give me full information of the attack on this English Wikipedia user. --Muzammil (talk) 16:47, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Jeez, have you actually looked at that Volupuk page? It's an attack. End of discussion. You were helping, I assume accidentally, by making the link more public. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 19:45, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I regret if this is the situation -- certainly not what I intended. --Muzammil (talk) 19:50, 5 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for removing the controversial llnks. I woouldn't like to cause any harm to anyone by reposting them. --Muzammil (talk) 06:26, 6 November 2017 (UTC)--Muzammil (talk) 06:26, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Calton: One of my UrWiki colleagues pointed out that unlike Hindi-Urdu where the word "regret" is synonymous with "sorry", perhaps English users view these distinctly. I posted the regret implying an expression of regret and sorry as well, although my intention was understand the mischief posted about you or concerning you and certainly not to offend you in any way. --Muzammil (talk) 18:02, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Other users - @Jpgordon, Rschen7754, and Emir of Wikipedia: who have directly or indirectly referred to this conversation may please make a note of this clarification. I hope work with all of you on a friendly note. Thank you --Muzammil (talk) 18:02, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the clarification. Please don't make this mistake again, and act carefully in the future. Wishing you the best, Emir. --Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 18:05, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
