Urdu scripts[edit]

I appreciate how you are adding Urdu transliterations into different articles. However, please remember to enclose the script in brackets whenever you add it i.e. Zafar Hilaly should start like ---> Zafar Hilaly (Urdu: .....) . Thanks Mar4d (talk) 01:03, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

my posts[edit]

Hi - please don't delete some of my posts and leave the ones you want - either delete that all or keep them all - leaving isolated posts removed from the discussion falsly portrays them, thanks - Off2riorob (talk) 03:59, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Original research[edit]

Once again, using a website to prove a 'growing trend' is original research, you need a reliable source stating that there is this growing trend. I'm not arguing whether you or right or wrong here, just that it needs sourcing. And I don't believe that your use of the file meets our criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline. Disambiguation link notification for April 16[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Nayantara Sahgal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for November 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ek Alag Mausam, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Love story (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

List of Wikis[edit]

If you want to add the two wikis, please write the articles first and then add them, otherwise they will keep getting removed. Since the wikis you list are not very well known, there can be no exceptions for them. Instead of the time you spend adding the wikis everytime they are removed, you could have already written the articles on them. Also, if you have any ownership of those wikis, there could be a conflict of interest issue. Please read wikipedia guidelines. Thanks SignerGooder (talk) 12:00, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

latest edit[edit]

Please explain what was wrong with my addition at Love in Vain. Why was it removed? Note that I am not exactly a newbie, but not an expert doing this for years either. Tamtation (talk) 12:18, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit "Jazz singer Madeleine Peyroux covered "Love in Vain" on her 2011 album Standing on the Rooftop." is perfectly fine and can definitely be part of the article. However, the only problem is you've not quoted any source. Please provide the source and it will be perfectly ok. All the best for you. Hindustanilanguage (talk) 14:03, 16 November 2012 (UTC).[reply]

OK I can do that. Thank you. I probably didn't think about adding a source because the entire section doesn't have any. Tamtation (talk) 12:00, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Satyajit Ray![edit]

I am little bit surprised to see your edit in Satyajit Ray. I have not reverted that, since I consider you as a good faith and constructive editor, but I am surprised for the following reasons–

  • There is already an article Sikkim (film), then why an h2 paragraph?
  • External link in article body.
  • Reference fmt error. --Tito Dutta (talk) 19:19, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the friendly message, bondhu. I would just like to briefly mention about the movie as it has a historic significance. Detailed description of the film/ documentary can be part of another article. I've corrected formatting error. Regards, Hindustanilanguage (talk) 19:24, 18 November 2012 (UTC).[reply]

Alright, then you can put it under New directions (1965–82) section (1971 film) with h3 header (i.e. === Header ===) and link the main article with {{Main}} --Tito Dutta (talk) 19:28, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, you helped in category of this article recently. Thanks for that! --Tito Dutta (talk) 19:29, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notification[edit]

Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. I'm dropping these templates on the talk pages of every user who has posted at Talk:Men's rights in the last two sections. This is not meant to imply that I necessarily find any of your edits problematic, and is simply meant to inform you. Kevin Gorman (talk) 07:01, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just for clarification, I saw absolutely nothing wrong with your edits on that page. ANI just requires notification of involved editors, and it seemed like the easiest way to meet that requirement was just to notify anyone who had posted anything in the last week to that page. Kevin Gorman (talk) 07:23, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Hindustanilanguage (talk) 07:47, 11 January 2013 (UTC).[reply]

Insignificant edits[edit]

Hello, there's no need to make dummy edits like the one you made at Overhead projector; I've reverted it. Graham87 03:31, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was checking the "ClueBot NG" edit and significance. I realised the bot-checked reverting to okay and just mentioned. Sorry if checking the relevance of edit bothers you. Hindustanilanguage (talk) 06:33, 14 February 2013 (UTC).[reply]

Cool, but if the revert was OK, there's no need to make a note of that in the edit history. Instead make a note about it on the talk page, if it's non-obvious (adding Turkish text to an English article about overhead projectors is far too obviously wrong to be mentioned on the talk page in this way). Disambiguation link notification for February 14[edit]
