StarKid naming convention[edit]

Hi there. We've bumped into each other once or twice while editing articles on Team StarKid, so I thought I'd consult you on this. What is the naming convention that should be used for the StarKid articles? Is it "Team StarKid" or "StarKid Productions". There seems to be a lot of variation across articles and I thought it would be best if we had some consistency. Eladkse (talk) 19:59, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I personally know them as Team StarKid, so when I made most of the articles for the musicals and the soundtracks last summer that's what I used. Also, I see Team StarKid more in interviews and articles than StarKid Productions, but I believe 'Productions' is just the more formal name for StarKid. Since someone changed the main article to StarKid Productions I started using that instead. As you probably well know their logo is just "StarKid," so I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot, but I understand the want for consistency. FallenWings47 (talk) 22:32, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Heads up[edit]

As a frequent contributor to StarKid related articles, I thought I'd give you a heads up on what I'm expecting to happen over the next few days. With the release of HMB! tonight, people are going to be all over the StarKid Wikipedia articles. I've made a request to semi-protect StarKid Productions and Holy Musical B@man!. Hopefully they'll go through and most of the anons will leave the page alone. (EDIT: Stupid no pre-emptive rules!) I should be around for that, but my timezone means that I won't be active on Wikipedia until tomorrow.

Obviously, most people will be eager to put the plot and cast list up. This means broken tables and irrelevant trivia scattered on the page. Again, this is something I'll get on top of when I login tomorrow (after I've seen the show of course ;) ), but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

In terms of page creation, there are three pages I expect to need creating - Holy Musical B@man! (again), the soundtrack page, and the 'That's What I Call StarKid! Volume 2' page. Then all the links will need to be done on the other articles. There isn't much to do, however maintaining style is the key.

Whether you're going to be editing the pages or not, I thought I'd inform you of what I'm going to try to do. Eladkse (talk) 15:03, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'll probably take a look at the page after I see the show, but I appreciate the heads up! FallenWings47 (talk) 20:06, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
