A bug with your AWB?

I used to use visual inspection of the duplication that it only exclude one string. There might be some mistakes as your illustration. Today I changed the exclusion by regular expression and it runs correctly now. — HenryLi (Talk) 12:37, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Adoptee Discussion

Hello Deryck, I have found some vandalism on the Yarn page by 151.196.37.18. Is it better to revert the article or correct the vandalism that is noticed? How can I do this and what about the vandal? It seems that the only other editing they've done has been reverted, due to vandalism, as well. I don't get here much, but manage to find something of interest, to do, when I'm here. Thanks! Wikipedia is not a forum

This is clearly indicated by Template:Talkheader, Template:Notaforum, among others. Forum-like and chat messages are not tolerated and freely removed by multiple other users. Otherwise simply weakens the point of talk pages. ' 16:16, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

Help

Hi Deryck, you helped me earlyer regarding a dispute with a wiki user, he's disregarded your warning, left a mean message on my talk page, and deleted my posts again, and I know there was nothing wrong with my posts this time. Can you please advise, or maybe issue a temporary block on him? Hes turning that discussion page into his own private discussion where anyone who posts a comment that he doesnt agree with, he deletes. Im sorry about bothering you with this, I just find it annoying having to go and repost. Unusual Adoption Request

Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.
