C U Soon[edit]

Thanks for the edits in the article C U Soon. I saw that you have uploaded (C U Soon Poster.jpg) and added it to the article. I think you know that film posters are copy-righted images. Thus in Wikipedia, it is only allowed to use a low resolution image of film posters. Please see WP:Non-free_content for more details. So it is better to upload a low resolution image of the poster you have uploaded as a new version of the same image and we can suggest to delete the one I have uploaded. --Alfasst (talk) 11:52, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Template:Amazon Video Original Films a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Template:Amazon Video Original films. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:C U Soon Poster.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:C U Soon Poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:28, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Sibi Thomas.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sibi Thomas.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:16, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Curb Safe Charmer. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Talk:Kerala Police have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 18:50, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Curb Safe Charmer. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Kerala Police, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 19:55, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Kerala Police, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 20:43, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Kerala Police. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 20:46, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

can you romove template.Already added reference from reliable sources.
@Chennai Passangai: In references like this you have added references, but you don't need to add a reference just after the words 'Kerala Police' - references go after a statement and need to verify what the statement said. Once there are enough reliable references someone will remove the tag. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:03, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
ok @Curb Safe Charmer, i will change the reference to end of the statement. I understand that I have put everything together in the right way.--Chennai Passangai (talk) 21:07, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Saajan Bakery Since 1962 for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Saajan Bakery Since 1962 is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Saajan Bakery Since 1962 until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 21:26, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Bevq app screenshot.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://medium.com/2ldr/reimagining-bevq-app-a-study-on-ui-ux-684f434d4843. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 22:20, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Techgentsia for deletion[edit]

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. 1292simon (talk) 08:09, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add protection templates to pages[edit]

You can't protect pages, and adding a false protection template just confuses people. That page is not protected anymore. If more problems occur I may protect it again. Doug Weller talk 13:27, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Doug Weller: okay bro, please protect the article with Pp-extended , in this situation ,article details may be changing everyone. Chennai Passangai (talk) 13:34, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If I see a need in the next few weeks I will. You can always ping me if you see a number of editors who have less than 500 edits vandalising the article. Doug Weller talk 13:45, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
okay ,@Doug Weller: bro. --Chennai Passangai (talk) 14:16, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Further to that, I think you need to slow down on your requests a bit. You've probably noticed that most of your requests in the last few months have been declined; that should tell you that you need to reconsider the criteria for protection. We don't use protection immediately when an edit or two has to be reverted; we use it when there is a persistent pattern that is difficult to manage via warnings and blocks. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:31, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I assumed User:Doug Weller's warning above was from today, but I see now that it was from last week. Since Doug's warning, you've added protection templates at least twice [1] [2] since that warning. Do not do that again. OhNoitsJamie Talk 13:45, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ohnoitsjamie: Sorry bro, i think , after adding the protection tag, the article will be protect automatically.Chennai Passangai (talk) 15:35, 6 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Funtastic Films moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Funtastic Films, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Notice

The article Potafo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable. Fails Wp:NCORP

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ways to improve Firoz Chuttipara[edit]

Hello, Chennai Passangai,

Thank you for creating Firoz Chuttipara.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs some independent sources that give evidence of 50 crore viewers or followers. Be clear about this, go read WP:NYOUTUBE and take steps to ensure this article does not go to deletion. Good references but needs evidence for HYoutube, Prem Bharath!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Shakir Subhan (Youtuber) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Please don't re-edit the death date template --Jkaharper (talk) 18:07, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Death date and given age" as a template is ONLY used when the date of birth is unknown. In this situation, the subject's birth date is known and the standard death date and age template Death date and age|xxxx|xx|xx|xxxx|xx|xx|df=y applies. Thanks! --Jkaharper (talk) 18:09, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

V Vaseef moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to V Vaseef. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and Failed WP:NPOL. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Youknowwhoistheman (talk) 09:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
