Re:Annales School
I'm not sure. Part of the problem when discussing a block for Annales School is that the isp edits come from the 185 area, which raises flags for a block because 185 matches a list of isp addresses for which blocking requires a mandatory notice the WMF (though admittedly this is a little off the specific wavelength for our ever persistent sock). I'd be tempted to entertain raising the matter at WP:ANI, but I'd personally wait until attempt #3 to prove that protection of the article and the blocking of the isp addresses individually aren't helping. Hey Catlemur, thanks for looking over William Edward Ellis for me. Are the two paragraphs you reference the lead? I tried to model the general scheme of this article on an FA article. Those don't cite the lead but repeat lead claims in the body of the article with appropriate referencing, which I tried to do here. - @Catlemur: Thanks! I went ahead and added the proper citations, though I realized that two of my cites under the harvid scheme make for unwieldy citation. I had to use 'The Times-News 1964(1)' and 'The Times-News 1964(2)' as names for the cites since they are both staff writer/authorless. If you know of a better way to structure the code for citation don't hesitate to let me know. March Madness 2017
G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

- @Piotrus: Hey, I am glad you liked the article, I would have written more if I had more sources. Sadly I have a lost my faith in the DYK process after a series of unfortunate incidents. First of all it is being routinely used as a free advertisement for movies, video games and other commercial products. Apart from that its quality standards are extremely low, I have seen articles being featured on it while being riddled with typos, one incident of blatant racism in the hook as well as articles failing the lowest notability standards (in my humble opinion). Therefore I would like to distance myself from this process and leave more space for the PR people promoting their garbage new movies. Kind regards.--Catlemur (talk) 15:59, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
Eurowings - Current fleet
Hi, you filled in the references about the Airbus A319 and A320 wet-leased with Air Berlin (link). According to the article you cited (link): "all of the A319s and A321s, as well as 13 A320s will be wet leased to Lufthansa" i.e. six A319 and 21 A321, however, the table of current fleet says 7 A319s in service and three more on order and no mention of A321. So there are contradictions. Same for A320: according to the wiki article - 22 to be wet-leased from Air Berlin, but the article you cited said 13 A320s will be wet leased to Lufthansa [Eurowings].---Now wiki (talk) 20:59, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

- Not to worry about Pennavaire. By the end of the war, Frederick was running out of generals and giving out awards like they were paper. And Pennavaire was old, and had been loyal to him for many years. How many eighty year olds will lead a charge?
- On another note, would you have another look at Names_inscribed_on_the_Equestrian_statue_of_Frederick_the_Great. All the redlinks are filled in. Help with Lyft proposed changes?
Hi Catlemur,
I noticed you've been active on the Lyft article. I wonder if you would help review a number of updates that the company thinks would improve the article. Talk:Lyft/Archives/2017#Suggested_changes.2F_Independent_review I do this a lot and always request an independent review of proposed changes, as is proper under Wikipedia policy. You would just have to state on the Talk page whether you approve or disapprove of the proposed changes, individually or as a group. Or suggest any modifications.

I am from near this place (Lanvénégen), I have books (and I knew people who lived those events in 1944) about the Second World War in Le Faouët, I never red (neither heard) allegations of presence of members of the Bezen there... - @LargelyRecyclable: I am afraid I cannot assess an assessment of my own article as there is an obvious conflict of interest at play. Visiting the MILHIST Assessment section and taking a glance at the MILHIST Academy would be more than enough for someone who is new to the process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Unhappy reminder that tools can betray
I know nothing about the tool 'reFill', but I see that you still use it, so this reminder to check its work might be timely. In this edit back in 2015, something took the URL (which is weird, fershur) and somehow derived a |title= containing the same misspelled word 'Goobye'.
The article was published November 2014, and your change was May 2015, and it is *possible* somebody could have corrected the title of that old article since then, but I've never seen that before.
Is it possible that the tool reFill simply made up the title from the URL, and that you didn't catch that by referring to the original? Shenme (talk) 22:24, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Shenme: reFill takes bare links and uses information from them to autocratically create filled references. Since the word was misspelled in the source it was also misspelled in the reference. I rarely manually check the result since it would take ages, sometimes the tool fills up to 150 links at a time.--Catlemur (talk) 22:35, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
