"Previous wording flowed better"?[edit]

I'm referring to this edit on the Hazbin Hotel page. Since I want to avoid an edit war, I want to know your reasoning before changing anything back, because I believe your edit actually makes the flow of the sentence worse in every way.

  • I am of the opinion that the phrase "Adam hints that he wants revenge on Hell for what they did to the exterminator" is speculatory and thus doesn't flow well at all (not to mention Adam doesn't really mention the dead angel ever again, most of it is Carmilla, Vaggie, or Velvette).
  • Meanwhile, the phrase "who is revealed to be a former angel" is superfluous, and the "who is revealed to be" could be outright removed since the sentence would flow better that way; generally, I don't really like saying something is revealed to the audience, and in this case it isn't really revealed to the characters either since they all already know/figured it out.
  • Lastly, you removed the mention that the earlier extermination is first mentioned during Charlie's meeting with Adam during the song "Hell is Forever", instead claiming it is during the TV broadcast that interrupts Vaggie's ad, and I genuinely want to know why you would change the timing of a reveal to be the wrong time.

@Unnamed anon The fact that Adam doesn't mention the dead exterminator ever again is a good point, so upon reflection, you can remove that if you want. If I removed the mention of the ad being interrupted, that was genuinely an accident on my part, and I apologize for that. That can be readded as well. However, I do feel that the phrase "who is revealed to be a former angel" is important, because this was specifically the episode where this information was revealed. Without it, the phrase "Vaggie, a former angel" almost feels like this was information that had been previously known in the show. Blubewwy (talk) 12:48, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Blubewwy, I would definitely recommend you weigh in. I attempted to do so myself, but I may have not done the best job to be honest. Will be trying to contact more people about this to get more eyes on it. Historyday01 (talk) 03:56, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Lloyd Garmadon[edit]

I know the category is called half-demons but Lloyd is less than half, so he does not exactly fit that category either. If he is into the half-demons category despite being less than half, I do not see why we can not add him in the dragons category.--2A01:5A8:30D:955E:C881:7139:5183:EFCE (talk) 08:22, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. He shouldn't be in the half-demons category either. Blubewwy (talk) 20:32, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Booster (ride). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Undone rivison[edit]

Hello I made a recent addition to the Warriors (novel series) in the section 'The Prophecies Begins' for a school project and it was taken down with no info other than the WP.FANCRUFT. I read the article and I do have a few questions on how the info I contributed was un-needed since Yellowfang had played a major role in the finding of Frostfur's kits. If at all possible could we discuss further? Thank you Ruin0517 (talk) 22:13, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ruin0517 Hello, thank you for reaching out. I reverted your edit due to the fact that the plot summaries for books in articles regarding overarching series are intended to be concise. They are meant to be short and simple, and the extra info you added wasn't needed, as the plot summary only needed to describe the basic outline of the story. If you want to work on a plot summary regarding Into the Wild, I recommend its actual article, as that would be the proper place for more in-depth information. (And the reason I cited WP:FANCRUFT as the reason for the revert was because that has been a large issues with Warriors articles in the past. Several articles regarding the series have almost been deleted due to the sheer amount of unsourced content that was once on them, and therefore a large amount needed to be trimmed out in order to keep them suitable for inclusion on Wikipedia.) @Blubewwy thank you for the clarification. I will work on that immedently so that way I can turn in my project on time. Ruin0517 (talk) 02:52, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Blubewwy I have made edits to the article you recommended. If you don't mind looking over it and letting me know if I could have done a better job or what I should change in the future. I appreciate your willingness to assist me with my project. Ruin0517 (talk) 12:36, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ruin0517 Overall, your edits were quite helpful! That article definitely didn't mention Yellowfang as much as it should have prior to your edits. My only comments are about minor grammatical fixes:
1. The word "Clan" is always capitalized in Warriors terminology, both in and out of the actual Clan names.
2. A citation goes after the period at the end of a sentence.
3. You accidentally referred to Graypaw as Graystripe in scenes before he received his warrior name, be careful about that lol.
Just keep an eye out for things like that and you're good to go! Blubewwy (talk) 13:16, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Blubewwy Of course, thank you for the revisions and for the imput as well. Ruin0517 (talk) 13:55, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
