I believe so. From what I recall it came about when people were trying to figure out if the articles were started with fictional character or not, and it was reasoned people can understand the basic concept of these character as such without needing a wikilink.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 12:20, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
