File source problem with File:Hollywood Clambake 2006 - Robert Stolpe.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Hollywood Clambake 2006 - Robert Stolpe.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:40, 25 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:40, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Hollywood Clambake 2006 - Robert Stolpe.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Hollywood Clambake 2006 - Robert Stolpe.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 02:40, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Who has access to this account?[edit]

In your comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter Betan you make repeated references to "we" and "contributors" in connection with edits from this account. Just how many people have access to it? Are you aware each account on Wikipedia must be accessible by only one person? ~Anachronist (talk) 20:52, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is where the COI (Conflict of Interest) lays. The contributor and the subject of the article are the same. This has been stated, documented and apologized for in the Wikipediaarticlesfordeletion/peterbetan page comment and rebuttal section by Betinfo. In answer to your question, no, we did not know that articles can only be accessible to one person but... The article "Peter Betan" has always been accessed by only one person since its initial publishing 12 years ago hence, the COI (the subject and contributor are one in the same) So although we were not aware of the " the articles are accessible only by one person" guideline, we did not commit an infraction with regard to the guideline because the contributor and subject of the article are the same. This is where the COI (Conflict of Interest)lays Thank you -

Please read and comprehend the question. I am not asking about the article, I am asking about your account called "Betinfo". How many people have access to it? That is, who logs into it? And who is this "we" you keep referring to? ~Anachronist (talk) 04:45, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No one else accesses the betinfo account just the contributor and subject of the article which are one of the same. ( and which according to wikipedia betinfo no longer exists) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Betinfo (talkcontribs) 18:11, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have failed to answer who constitutes the "we" you keep referring to. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:29, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ANI notice[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#WP:COI account apparently used by multiple editors regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 00:55, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Hollywood Clambake 2006 Robert Stolpe.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://cress.gigsalad.com/s3/p/peter_betan_-_guitarist_-_singer_songw/5614a494314f3.jpg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.

It seems your only purpose here is to write about yourself. What is more it seems that this account is being operated by more than one purpose. These are both problematic here. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 01:58, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

RE Deleted:'PETER BETAN ARTICLE' FALSE STATEMENTS - "...apparently used by multiple editors" "...is being operated by more than one purpose" HighInBC

Sole contributor of this article was pointed out as "rude" among other false accusatory statements. Please read statements by JESKE COURIANI (user) he was profane in his responses to articles contributor and outright hostile, insulting and falsely accusatory to sole contributor's comments and replies in the "articles for deletion" page. None of the wikipedia users involved with the discussion and deletion of this article has pointed that out (clearly all other editors are taking sides with heavily biased statements and without carefully reading contributors perspective, comments and rebuttals) This has NOT been a fair open table decision within the parameters of "Article for Deletion" discussion. The users and editors ran too quick to judgement. I do want to thank the editors who were very helpful and encouraging in the creation and publishing of this factual "Peter Betan" wikipedia article from 12 years ago. Who's subject is still a notable and existing artist. The articles deletion is accepted with no ill will from the contributors part. The artist and the music of the deleted articles subject "Peter Betan" will live on. But as you know, editors and users of wikipedia (especially those who hold personal bias in their decision making) will always be dispensable, and rightly so. Thank you - Betinfo
