Hi
Strangely enough that is one term that we normally say "a Eurasian" rather than "an Eurasian" (Cyprus edits):
A Eurasian (Google = About 3,580,000 results (0.62 seconds))
An Eurasian (Google = About 2,400,000 results (0.31 seconds))
As for the correct term I am unclear as whether it should be written as spoken or whether it should be as is after your edit

Periphery
Hi Aeternus, I noticed your changes in the genre of Periphery. I don't know Periphery at all, so it's hard for me to decide which genres should be added, but do you have any source for this? Past weeks I reverted some genre changes made by unregistered users, for know I assume good faith on your part, but it could help the article if we can find some good sources, limit the genres and keep it that way. - See how it is much easier to convince people that an edit makes sense through discussion and argumentation than through editwarring. This is obviously an important argument in Music cognition and apparently virtually everyone who is an actual expert disagrees with Pinker. As an aside the article on Music cognition seems in a bad state, it is entirely about the effects of personality and mood on musical preferences (which is in fact rather psychology than cognition). Continuum (Instrument) request
I saw that you had edited the Continuum (instrument) page in the past. I build the Continuum, and have information I think should be listed on the page -- I have waited for years, but nobody listed it. As I understand Wikipedia ethics, I am not supposed to edit the page -- so I added a request for someone to add the information on the Continuum (instrument) talk page. Unfortunately, the "page visits" counter tells me that the talk page does not get visited by anyone (except me). You have given no examples of the "Peacock" language to which you are referring. I can only guess. In the article, there is no "proclamation about the subject's importance", beyond the facts represented here:
- A great number of ecclesiastical buildings remain from this period, of which even the smallest are often structures of architectural distinction while many of the larger churches are considered priceless works of art and are listed with UNESCO as World Heritage Sites.
These facts are true beyond doubt. Let me explain it.
- A small church built in 1960 is likely to be of no architectural distinction whatsoever. By contrast, a church of the same size built in 1360 is likely to have a fine wooden roof, mouldings around its pointed-arched doors and windows, small stone carvings and ornamental fittings even if it is only a small, plain church. All this adds up to having "architectural distinction".
- "Many of the larger churches are considered priceless works of art": e.g. Notre Dame, Paris; Chartres Cathedral, St Denis Basilica, Milan Cathedral, Florence Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral, Wells Cathedral, Canterbury Cathedral, Lincoln Cathedral, York Minster, Reims Cathedral, Beauvais Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Ulm Minster, Amiens Cathedral, Laon Cathedral, Leon Cathedral, Rouen Cathedral etc etc etc. Many, if not all, of these buildings are World Heritage Sites. Why? Because they are considered priceless works of art.
- The statement that they are "considered priceless works of art" is supported by the fact that they have World Heritage Listing.
- The words "priceless works of art" has been used here (deliberately) rather than "priceless works of architecture" because each large church represents more than just a building. At some Gothic Churches (Chester Cathedral for example) it is the internal fittings that are the most significant feature. At the church of St Mary, Fairford, it is the stained glass that makes the building significant. At another church it might be the tombs, or the statues, or the painted ceiling.
I can assure you that when writing about architecture of this type, using terms like "considered priceless works of art" (with World Heritage Listings) is no different to citing a particular drummer, guitarist or keyboard player as considered by a particular magazine to be "one of the greatest" or even "the greatest of all time".

- According to this info, she appears to meet criterion #3 of WP:PORNBIO, so I removed my deletion proposal accordingly. However, Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, secondary sources, and to a lesser extend on primary sources. Currently, the article about Helena Karel is based mostly on information from her website (primary source), failing to meet WP:V. We need direct links from the online magazines (or page numbers, if printed) so we can confirm that the info on her site stands. --Λeternus (talk) 16:58, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

- Hello ! After you added new element to improve, i've added a media section (criteria asked in WP:Pornbio) but it has been deleted... I don't undestand why ! (i made like in Clara Morgane's page, where the section is present...) I've added external sources and reliable sources (we now have just one primary source). I've added external link about Bob Sinclar and Petter Hegre but i'm afraid it is a little too erotic (please let me know). About "notability guideline for biographies" you added yesterday, i don't have ideas : this is not a biography, just a page about an actress... I still have to work about that orphan page. I had added her there it was the 24th may 2014. Someone has all erased. I'll try to had her there but i'm not sure, otherwise i'll make a specific page (List of french porn actresses) : tell me please if it's a good idea. It looked like a resume because it listed every magazine she has appeared on. It's true that this information made me remove my deletion proposal, but that doesn't necessarily mean it can all go to the article; a note on the talk page would have been fine too. Clara Morgane's article lists only the main magazines she has appeared on (although her article is in a very bad state, and we should't take it as an example). You have added two secondary sources (which I'm not sure are reliable) but the article still needs a lot more. The reason I added the last tag about notability is obvious: the current sources aren't enough to establish her notability, and an article about a person is a biography, so I don't see a problem with it. The essence of the tag is to show that the subject of the article may not be notable. As per List of pornographic actresses by decade, I think

- Thanks for the answer : i was not comparing pages (Clara Morgane v. Helena Karel)... I had to proove the notability (medias criteria, so i look on Clara Morgane's page to answer to wp:pornbio 3 reacting to the deletion process. But the problem is that it is considered not usefull (so how can i proove that HK is notable ?) and deleted. I'm not in a hurry, i just try to have an acceptable page... Hi there! I appreciate the hard work you're putting into the Holly Weber article. I am, however, concerned by the plea for privacy and the admission of a suicide attempt on the bio that you link to - http://goholly.com/biography.html# - which also appears to indicate that she's retired from all these professions. - Well, she has deliberately posted this information on her own website, and it's the most visible information there (it's the first thing that pops when you open it). I tried to minimize it all by providing only a single short sentence to her article. I'm not really sure what to do.
