Hurricane template[edit]

The {{{type}}} is only for storms which aren't in the usual 7 basins. Use the {{{basin}}} instead and the type will show up on the line for that basin.

According to Saffir–Simpson hurricane wind scale, that scale is used only for hurricanes (in Atlantic/NE Pacific), not typhoons, so a page that says "Category 1 typhoon" is not a correct term. -- Netoholic @ 21:35, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't maintain hurricane small, but any place that uses a phrase like "Category 1 typhoon" isn't correct, because SSHWS doesn't use that term. -- Netoholic @ 21:50, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just small things[edit]

Just using your recent edit, 995 hPa is 29.38 inHg (not 29.39). These are just small things but everything should be constant. Even the code says it is 29.38 inHg (Code: 995 hectopascals (29.38 inHg)). Typhoon2013 (talk) 22:56, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017–18 South Pacific cyclone season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kadavu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

storm updates[edit]

Hi. Thanks for helping on updating the infoboxes for typhoons. However keep in mind, we should use the JMA for coordinates and the movement as they are the RSMC, not the JTWC. Typhoon2013 (talk) 00:20, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pls add the timing[edit]

Hello and thank you for updating Cyclone Yaas, but I have noticed that you aren't giving the timing. So it is much advisable that whenever you update it, update the timing. Beraniladri19 🌀🌀 18:13, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
