Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Overlinking, English and dates[edit]

Hi - Грищук ЮН
I've noticed a few of your edits to Leninsky Komsomol (ship) following our earlier discussion, but I have not checked them all.
The rule on Wikilinks vary from one language Wikipedia to another, In the English Wikipedia we only link the first use - although you can link once in the lead (the paragraph above the contents) and once in the infobox, as well as the article. We also do not link dates, common words or large countries/continents.
In English we do not use the word "year" with a date - so "Scrapped in Valencia in 1985 year" should only be "Scrapped in Valencia in 1985"
We also do not use dates such as "From 02.11.1961" - this means 2 November in UK/European English and February 11 in US English (except for the US military who use Day/Month/Year format like the Europeans, making it very confusing. Please see WP:DATEFORMAT for the dates that are acceptable. - hope that helps - Arjayay (talk) 19:28, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Грищук ЮН. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Women (picture), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheLongTone (talk) 16:00, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of The best girlfriend (painting) for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The best girlfriend (painting) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The best girlfriend (painting) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Joseph2302 (talk) 22:13, 20 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with your edits[edit]

I notice that you've created lots of articles about Soviet ships. However, there appear to be a number of problems with these articles:

  1. Large sections of the articles are about the general history of the USSR or general other things (like movies about ships) rather than the ships themselves. The articles should focus only on the history of the ships.
  2. Wikipedia wants factual, neutral tone text, not opinions or speculations such as "This ship might have gone to place X at some time".
  3. Your text needs to be supported by reliable sources- everything you write on English Wikipedia must be accompanied by a reliable source, else it risks being deleted.
  4. Lots of the text does not follow the best English grammatical practices- this makes me question your ability to speak and write English, which is a requirement to edit English Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, just reply here. Joseph2302 (talk) 18:20, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at MS Toyvo Antikaynen. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:05, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop continuing to add original research to ship articles. Everything on Wikipedia must be accompanied by reliable sources. If you continue adding original research and opinions, I will have no option but to ask for administrator intervention due to an apparent lack of competence in editing the English language Wikipedia. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:07, 27 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Грищук ЮН: It is appreciated that you mean well, but you should bear in mind that Wikipedia does not need every single detail about the ship's daily life, unluss something particularly made it stand out from the norm; i.e. if it made made it notable in some way. The same goes for her lading and routes: these can be summed up in a sentence. Cheers! Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 13:57, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

SS Heinrich Arp[edit]

Thank you for you work expanding the article. Let me know when you have finished editing as there are a few issue I will need to raise on the article's talk page. There are some issues with WP:RS to consider, but this is a clear case that WP:IAR may be applied to some extent. The history of an individual ship operating during the period of the Soviet Union is going to be difficult to cover. It is likely that the forum source will be the only one available. Your contributed article, Statue of Yuriy Dolgorukiy, Moskow[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Statue of Yuriy Dolgorukiy, Moskow. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Statue of Yuriy Dolgorukiy, Moscow. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Statue of Yuriy Dolgorukiy, Moscow – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. AllyD (talk) 18:53, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mignon desires her fatherland[edit]

Hello Грищук ЮН. Please read WP:Original research, and WP:Synthesis. Wikipedia is not the place to advance our theories about a subject: we can quote notable theories from WP:Reliable sources, but we can't write "X is true, and Y is true, therefore Z must also be true." You've done this a few times in Mignon desires her fatherland. Please don't. Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 12:09, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits in English[edit]

Hello Грищук ЮН. I'd like to ask you to read WP:CIR, in the "language difficulty" section. You've contributed a great deal here and at other Wikis (such as Russian Wikipedia), and your enthusiasm is commendable, but I'm sorry to say that your contributions in English are mostly very difficult to read.
