Hello,
My name is Ozren Sirola, I am 37 years old, live in Croatia. I work as a programmer for more than 20 years. As a kid in elementary school, I won first prize in my town Rijeka for my program which I wrote on my first computer ZX Spectrum in a Basic. Till now I have passed through almost all fields in informatic, from web designing, working with relation databases (SQL), developing windows applications in C++, web applications (ASP.NET), etc. Before few years I developed program ShixxNOTE. I developed it for myself, because I have need for some kind of a sticky note just to write something to remember. First it was just sticky (post-it) desktop notes application. Then I figure that it would be cool that I can send some important note to colleagues in my company, who are in other office and then I have implemented network support and instant messaging in the program. Now ShixxNOTE 6.net is a network enabled desktop sticky notes program. All that time I also worked in a private company like a software developer. Currently I work in that same company. So except my program, I work on a many various projects. So now I have great knowledge in developing windows and web applications. I worked with many developer tools, like Visual Cafe building Java application but after that project in Java, I used only Microsoft developers program, Visual FoxPro 9, Visual Studio 6.0 and now I work with Visual Studio 2012. Currently my favourite programming language is C#, my database is SQL Server 2008. But instead of Windows applications now I develop ASP.NET applications. Also I use everything which I need like AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, and all new tools for creating great web apps.
Anyway I must inform you that my friends call me Shixx, and it is my nickname. I know how it sounds on English, but it doesn't bother me so much.
As a kid I was drummer in one cool punk band, so I like music alot, especially one with good rhythm. I was also waterpolo player for 4 years in my teen days. Cause of that I swimm a lot in the summer. Also I am collecting movies (preffer horror, drama, mystery genre). I love animals, I have two dogs (german shepard and pekingeser) and one cat.
So this was short desription of me and my work, but there is lot more which I can not write here. For example I have one exam left on University of Economy in Rijeka, Croatia, I passed 52 exams, and I don't know if I will ever graduate with diploma of Economy (because 4 years have passed till my last attend to University).
