About Me[edit]
Hello! I'm PagePatroller, and I recently joined the Wikipedia community. My fascination with the depth and breadth of knowledge available here has inspired me to contribute. Currently, I'm focusing on understanding how Wikipedia works and how I can contribute effectively. Submitting my first article is a goal I'm excited to achieve, and I'm keen to learn everything necessary to make that a positive contribution.
Interests[edit]
I'm exploring several areas as I start my journey on Wikipedia:
- Learning to Edit: I'm getting to grips with the basics of editing and how to contribute constructively.
- Understanding Policies and Guidelines: Grasping the comprehensive policies and guidelines of Wikipedia to ensure my contributions are in line with community standards.
- Discovering WikiProjects: Looking for WikiProjects that match my interests, where I can both learn from experienced contributors and contribute meaningfully.
Goals[edit]
As a newcomer, I'm setting achievable milestones for myself:
- To complete the Wikipedia editing tutorial and apply what I've learned.
- To actively participate in editing articles, starting with small edits to gain confidence.
- To engage with the community through the Teahouse for guidance and support.
