I am an occasional Wikipedia editor primarily in the fields of American popular and traditional music. I make edits in these fields and others where I may have expertise. I created one Wikipedia entry and learned much about being part of the team. Many thanks to those who helped me learn. Now semi-retired, I taught for many years at the college level and wrote for newspapers and magazines. In 2012 my book on American country music was published. In 2015 I published my doctoral dissertation on line. My topic was the influence of editors on three American authors. I am working on a second book on American music - this time the country blues.
