Wood-Tikchik State Park[edit]

  • ... that the Wood-Tikchik State Park, the largest state park in the United States, is sometimes staffed by a single ranger?

Despite being the largest state park, it originally had no staff whatsover, and even now at times only a single ranger is in charge of patrolling the entire park, usually by aircraft. State Parks to cut one of two rangers at Wood Tikchik by July 1 Alaska State Park Faces Development Dilemma

  • Comment: you can pipe the place - although I wouldn't, with such a nice name - but need to link. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:42, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
