Typo[edit]

Critical Reception, Accolades, Table (First Entry : Exclaim! Publication from Canada), List column. Entry reads Top 10 Hip Hip Albums of 2013[94]. Should be Hip Hop and not Hip Hip.

There is an ongoing Request for Comments which concerns this article[edit]

The wording of the lead sentence describing the album as Kanye's "sixth solo album and seventh studio album" is the subject of a discussion at Talk:The_Life_of_Pablo#Request_for_comment. The input of any interested editors is sought. Cjhard (talk) 08:50, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No I.D. producer on Black Skinhead?[edit]

I have removed No I.D. from the list of producers on "Black Skinhead" on this Wiki, since the album notes cited for the track list don't show his name as a producer on the song. To whoever did add him: what is your source that he produced the song? --Kyle Peake (talk) 21:12, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pronoun change for Arca[edit]

She no longer goes by "he". --181.115.61.109 (talk) 19:30, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 21:11, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
"Producer Arca described being initially asked to send West music, noting that he purposefully sent perhaps the strangest stuff he had, with West happening to be excited by it" -> "Producer Arca described being initially asked to send West music, noting that she purposefully sent perhaps the strangest stuff she had, with West happening to be excited by it" - Refer to her page if you want confirmation of her pronouns. --181.115.61.109 (talk) 06:33, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 29 March 2021[edit]

The following sentence has a grammar mistake:

Two days before the album had to be delivered to the label, West wrote and sung lyrics to two songs while also recording the vocals to three others in just two hours.

Like "wrote," the past tense of the verb "to sing" should be used: please change "sung" to "sang." Visualman (talk) 23:08, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 10 April 2022 on missing Cassette format for Yeezus[edit]

Under the "Release History" section, please add a Cassette format to Yeezus. Ref: https://www.amazon.com/Yeezus-Cassette-Kanye-West/dp/B01BLTVS4A. I believe it was released February 9, 2016 (from the Amazon page) KanyeWestFan7 (talk) 22:01, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: Amazon is not a reliable source. interstatefive  (talk) - just another roadgeek 22:53, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah- sorry
I found another source https://www.newburycomics.com/products/kanye_west-yeezus_cassette?variant=30100326645865
This lists the label as Def Jam, I believe this is more reliable than the Amazon link KanyeWestFan7 (talk) 00:06, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. That's still just an online storefront. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:50, 29 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 8 December 2022[edit]

From the lead section:

"No album artwork is featured on the release of the former, and the physical CD edition was released in a clear jewel box with only a strip of red tape and sample credits."

I believe this was an accidental or unintentional holdover from a previous edit in which the thing the word "former" referred to was removed. I therefore request that the bolded portion of this quote is either removed or clarified.

100.7.44.80 (talk) 04:01, 8 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done Good catch; the "former" language was added here, where it referred to the album Born Sinner. I did not check to see when that was removed. Thank you. Ovinus (talk) 21:15, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 9 July 2023[edit]

The link to the album credits source [4] under the Personnel heading is unofficial and incomplete on some old web page submitted before the album was officially released. The most updated credits are at this official link on Donda Graphic Designer Joe Perez's website: "https://www.joerperez.com/yeezus/", and can be seen be scrolling down this page and clicking on the "Full Credits" link. Please change "http://images.modlife.com.s3.amazonaws.com/custom/kanye/YEEZUS-CREDITS.pdf" to ""https://www.joerperez.com/yeezus/" as the source, or add it as a secondly source.

The official credits submitting for the album that are officially hosted on the Donda Grapha Designer Joe Perez's site and must remain so as legally required by Universal Records because the physical CD itself carries no printed credits.

There is a Management credit missing from the album credits linked currently on the page. There should be two names under Management, with "Brenna Chase" missing from the Wikipedia version. The official versions includes the Management credit as follows:

Management: Izvor Zivkoic Brenna Chase

There may be other additional addendums on the legally official version of the credits hosted on Joe Perez's site, but this is the most prominent.

This management credit should also be added to the full album credits listed under "Personnel" on this article as the line is currently missing. Bobmild702 (talk) 03:43, 9 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Partly done: Updated the reference, other editors might need to take a look at the missing names. Deauthorized. (talk) 02:19, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
