Political activism[edit]

His political activism should be separated from the "Career" section. He is known for his intemperate and often crazy social media posts. There are plenty of examples and sources. In the past week he posted a video of demonstrators in Egypt in 2013 posing as corpses and claimed it was a recent Hamas video of a fake funeral (because one of the "corpses" moved).[1] Zero^talk 12:04, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Spreading Misinformation and Conspiracies[edit]

Yair Netanyahu is active on facebook, X, and instagram, telegram and his posts and tweets are frequently quoted on the media. Throughout his social media activity, Netnayhu expresses his opinions, alongside false conspiracy theories, misinformation and fake plots, which are mainly aimed to de-legitimize political opponents. Netanyahu regularly gathers random pieces of information, adding a demagogic explanation which portrays it as if it is a truth hidden from the general public, thus inducing a fake image of reality among his followers.

On September 2017, Netanyahu shared an internet meme on his Facebook account, which was originally published in August 2017 on the Israeli meme page "Matznakash". The meme is titled "The Food Chain"; At its head, George Soros was presented as the supreme ruler, under him appeared a lizard man, under him appeared an Illuminati man, and at the bottom of the chain appeared former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, Eldad Yaniv and Manny Naftali. The sharing of the meme provoked public criticism, as the meme was based on an anti-Semitic cartoon. About two days after publication, Netanyahu removed the post.

On February 2023, Ntanyahu shared a conspiracy theory that the protesters against 2023 Israeli judicial reform are doing so for a fee, and that these are demonstrations funded by the CIA. In addition, Netanyahu added and claimed that the United States is funding a coup because Benjamin Netanyahu is preventing it from arming Iran with nuclear weapons, and that there is a "mutiny" of the Israeli police in power, or that the police are the ones who blocked the road instead of the protesters, and even claimed that it is an "apartheid police" ", due to its discrimination against the "right-wing camp".

On March 2023, Netanyahu claimed on his program on "Galei Yisrael" radio that the left-wing protesters were using methods of action similar to those of the Nazi SS and claimed that the protestors tried to burn down the Knesset, similar to burning the Reichstag.

Netanyahu put out fake news as if parties from his father's rival camp had "faked" election results.

Netanyahu usually gives publicity to the false claim that former Prime Minister Ehud Barak is a pedophile because of his acquaintance with the American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and documents according to which Barak was seen leaving his apartment wearing a scarf, as well as twisting Alan Dershowitz's words on the subject.

In March 2023, he shared a tweet that his political rivals wanted to "burn and destroy the country".

In March 2023, he published a fiction according to which "anarchists from the left" were sent by Ehud Barak to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
