Undid replacement of the page by a redirect[edit]

I undid the replacement of the page by a redirect to Dream of the Red Chamber, a move which was unexplained. I did this because: 1) This article on Xue Baochai is more detailed than the section on her in the main article is or should be. 2) it created a loop when the link Xue Baochai was clicked in the main article. 3) It is not a good idea to change only two of the sub-articles and create an inconsistency.

We certainly could discuss whether to reduce the number of sub-articles, but this should be a consensus, not a one time action. ch (talk) 05:25, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  - If you do a quick search in Chinese, it shouldn't be difficult for Dreams of the Red Chamber character articles to satisfy the GNG. ([Look here for a long, nine-page list of scholarly studies done on Xue Baochai, for example. http://epub.cnki.net/kns/brief/default_result.aspx]). I've already restored the article on Lin Daiyu, and I'm going to do the same for this article for Jia Baoyu as these characters are clearly notable ;) Kayau (talk · contribs) 15:48, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
