British?[edit]

There's no explanation in the article as to when and how he gained British nationality. Is he indeed a dual national? Little grape (talk) 08:06, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he is a dual national. Ymblanter (talk) 08:34, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So is there any record as to when and how he gained British nationality? Little grape (talk) 02:13, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
According to this article, he received it after moving to the country when he was 15. Mellk (talk) 08:29, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Medical Evidence section[edit]

This section is currently misleadingly placed as referring to the 2017 incident, but in fact cites a source published in January 2016 about the suspected poisoning in 2015. Furthermore, the medical evidence currently presented as an explanation on Wikipedia are examined and debunked in the very article it rests on as source. I tried to remove the section since it looks to have been placed there with an agenda, but the edit was immediately reverted. Someone with higher rank at Wikipedia than me should look in to this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.226.30.124 (talk) 12:52, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"... the medical evidence of..." what? The only reference, at the time of your posting this comment, is to a 2017 BBC article; nor is that article any sort of update of a previous article of 2015, just to be comprehensive.
Since your comment, there has been extensive elaboration of sources under the section "Illnesses" for both the 2015 and 2017 incidences; any further objections are mooted. JohndanR (talk) 05:07, 9 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To add to article[edit]

To add to this article: does he still live in Russia, or has he moved to the United States? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 23:58, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What were the actual statements alleged?[edit]

Shouldn't this article say what actual statements the prosecution alleged were against the law? 184.145.113.182 (talk) 14:10, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

His laywer fled Russia. European Union urges to release Kara-Murza and other political prisoners[edit]

The section "Arrest" should be renamed. He was not just arrested, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison under harsh conditions. One possible title could be "Prosecution and conviction for protests against the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine". A shorter version could be "Protests against the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine" or even just "2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine".

I further suggest the following additions to the same section:

"His defense lawyer Vadim Prokhorov fled from Russia a few days before the final verdict, after threats of being prosecuted for similar reasons as Kara-Murza."

"The European Union Parliament has called for Kara-Murza and other political prisoners in Russia to be released."

It can simply be named "Arrest and imprisonment". Mellk (talk) 23:37, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
