Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.

If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)

I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.

Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs)

Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

Lede[edit]

  • I looked and it is listed at the moment; must have been forgotten as an addition initially! --K. Peake 13:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • For the song's single version, the album edit was revised - I don't know what this means. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:32, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The term "revised" is often used to refer to the song going through changes for a new version; that would be too wordy for the lead however and edited after album edit looks too repetitive. --K. Peake 13:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • played in the documentary of the same name. - is the documentary "Look at me:The Album"? Might be worth saying what the documentary is about. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:32, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

General[edit]

  •  Done for the above --K. Peake 13:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The body should really link and introduce things from the lede, like both West and XXX. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 19:39, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Partly done I added more links including these two, however they don't need reintroducing when they're the main artists. --K. Peake 13:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Review meta comments[edit]

  • Lee Vilenski Thanks for the review, I was slightly delayed due to being away from home but have addressed everything now! --K. Peake 13:31, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Improved to Good Article status by Kyle Peake (talk). Nominated by Onegreatjoke (talk) at 20:55, 22 October 2022 (UTC).[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: Yes
  • Interesting: Yes
  • Other problems: No - It might be worth expanding the hook just slightly, to include mention of the fact that the handwritten notes were scanned posthumously from a journal belonging to XXXTentacion. I think that makes the hook more interesting.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Matthew - (talk) 03:44, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@MatthewHoobin: How about "... that the cover art for "True Love" features handwritten notes by XXXTentacion that were posthumously scanned from one of his journals?" Onegreatjoke (talk) 03:48, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Onegreatjoke: That sounds good to me, but I would change "contains" to "features". Thoughts? —Matthew - (talk) 04:02, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@MatthewHoobin: Yeah it's definitely better to change it. Changed the hook. Onegreatjoke (talk) 04:06, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Then I have no further suggestions. Cheers! —Matthew - (talk) 04:08, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
