Did Tom Saintfiet work as the Technical Director of Nigeria?

An IP address in Belgium has been consistently posting on Wikipedia that Tom Saintfiet was the technical director of Nigeria in 2012. That assertion is wrong, because the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) does not have him on record, as having ever worked in Nigeria. He has never held a Nigerian work permit, and so could not have worked in Nigeria.

I have made effort to place verifiable truth on Wikipedia concerning the fact that he was interviewed by NFF, but could not take up the job because he could not obtain work permit. The facts have been reported throughout British Broadcating Corporation (BBC) website and other reputable internet news agencies.

This is the fact that is on Wikipedia, which the IP address originating from Belgium kept deleting, preferring to post falsehood on Tom Saintfiet's page.

"In March 2013, Saintfiet was offered a job as the technical director of Nigeria by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). However, the Nigerian ministry of sports hinted that there were many competent Nigerians with strong knowledge of grassroots football in the country who were better suited for the role of a technical director. Given that the sports ministry who would pay his $20,000 monthly salary preferred a more qualified person, they prevented him from securing a Nigerian work permit.(BBC)

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) subsequently appointed Shaibu Amodu, a local coach who led Nigeria to the 2010 World Cup qualification and also won two bronze medals as the coach of the Nigerian 2002 and 2010 African Cup of Nations team as the technical director.(BBC)

Therefore, Saintfiet was unable to enter Nigeria to formalize his contract and thus could not work as a technical director.

Tom Saintfiet's Achievement as the Coach / Manager of Malawi

Wikipedia is all about verifiable facts. Why would someone want to delete facts and conceal useful information? Tom Saintfiet worked as the coach of Malawi and here are the summary of his achievements. (An IP address originating in Belgium, keeps deleting the facts).

On 2 July 2013, Saintfiet agreed to take over as the head coach of Malawi national football team on a two-month contract. The primary goal was to win the last Group F qualifier against Nigeria on 7 September 2013 for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil. A win in the match would put Malawi through to the play-offs.This was also an opportunity for Saintfiet to prove his technical competence to Nigeria, as the Nigerian minister of sports had denied Saintfiet a job in Nigeria, saying Saintfiet was not qualified enough and has no impressive track record to work as the technical director of Nigeria. Unfortunately, Saintfiet led Malawi to a 2-0 defeat by Nigeria. Prior to that defeat, Malawi had not lost any match in Group F under the previous coach.
