Long block quotes[edit]

I think that all of the long block quotations in this article detract somewhat from its quality. We should relay the contents, of course, but in our own words and with commentary. I will probably start trying to convert the quotes into something more substantial later today.--Danaman5 14:56, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine, just don't mess with the first one in agriculture. That one stays, since I do not want to mess with his own words on that.--PericlesofAthens 19:22, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All the new pictures that are in the article were uploaded by me yesterday. I think the number of new pictures is sufficient, considering that there is a gallery at the end as well.--PericlesofAthens 19:23, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split into two[edit]

This article should ideally be more or less about the individual Song Yingxing. I suggest that Tiangong kaiwu be split from this article to be its own article rather then remain a section here. -- Sjschen (talk) 18:32, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A bit late, but I've been bold and split the section off; if 90% of an article about an author is about one of their books, that book deserves its own page. Yunshui  14:41, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
