Dead Links[edit]

The second link goes to a dead page. The same information ('about the illustrator', see last page) is at <http://www.lothian.com.au/TeachersNotes/therabbits.pdf>. The citations are distracting and repetitive. I think there should be a few references at the end and appropriate footnotes. The number of citations is actually fine, as far as I'm concerned -- it's that they often point to the same reference that bothers me. Does anyone more familiar with wp know the appropriate incantations to footnote this properly? Thanks 128.135.100.161 19:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. Twilight Zone[edit]

Not that Shaun couldn't have been a fan at age 11, but it's bit of a coincidence that two years later the episodes were repeated (for the first time during his life) on the brand spanking new 10-NEW. MartinSFSA (talk) 09:12, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This'd be the New Twilight Zone, on STW-9. MartinSFSA (talk) 09:04, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Someone has vandalized this article--there is no such word as "genetic scooniatist." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.69.181.4 (talk) 13:17, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comics[edit]

first of two sections posted at once

We have {{infobox comics creator}}, which must interfere with coverage of Tan as a writer/illustrator or filmmaker/animator more generally. Yet that infobox is used to provide very little information. The article does not explicitly mention comics and it is in no comics categories. --P64 (talk) 16:28, 14 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

second of two sections posted at once

More than half the information provided in the lead section is unworthy. Perhaps everything in the second, third, and fourth paragraphs should be integrated with material below or covered only in award lists.

Probably the Academy Award (par 1) and Lindgren Award (par 5) do belong in the lead. Perhaps they are worth mentioning in the infobox along with one or two others. "Numerous" yes, but more than half are Australia-only awards and many Australias and others are nominations and runners up rather than awards.

I have added "speculative fiction cover artist" (par 1) impressed by the sheer number of ISFDB listings. And last week, the Lindgren Award (par 5), for its lifetime and international nature.

The lead should say something summary regarding Tan and comics. Unfortunately the article doesn't say anything to be summarized. This needs work by knowledgeable editors. See previous section, #Comics.
