Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia → Prime Minister of Macedonia – The proposed page name already directs here, and there is no Prime Minister of the region of Greece, so there shouldn't be any confusion Tærkast (Discuss) 20:22, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Support. Someone unaware that the Macedonian region of Greece has no prime minister might be confused, so I came close to opposing, but my rationale breaks down with Georgia. The heads of government appear at List of Governors of Georgia and President of Georgia, rather than "List of Governors of Georgia (U.S. state)" and "President of Georgia (country)". Georgia being more prominent than Macedonia, if we've survived all these years with non-disambiguated titles for their uniquely-titled heads of government, we can survive with a non-disambiguated title for the uniquely-titled head of government for one of the Macedonias. Greeks and Macedonians always change this page in a non positive way![edit]

They put on and off the coat of arms. Everyone is tired with them. Sources required for dates of taking office[edit]

Several people have been changing the article today, to list Zaev as e.g. the 10th prime minister, implying that he has already been sworn in and took office, giving a date of either the 30th or 31st, without providing any reliable source. I have searched and been unable to find specific confirmation that he was sworn in, and on what date. Whatever information is correct, sources are required for it, especially the dates. --IamNotU (talk) 21:43, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As required by the Przino Agreement, a transitional government was established from 3 January to 30 August 2020, headed by Oliver Spasovski, that had the primary purpose of organizing the 2020 parliamentary elections. Therefore, Zaev was not the PM for 240 days until he was able to form the new government, unlike PMs in the elections before the Przino Agreement, who had a continuity in serving the office (during elections) and when no one was appointed to hold the office until someone is elected a Prime Minister. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Идеологист (talk • contribs) 21:35, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources required for numbering scheme[edit]

The article assigns numbers to the prime ministers, showing for example Zaev as number 8, and for his second time, (8). However, sources are required to show what system, if there is any consistent one, North Macedonia uses to count its prime ministers. This is important because people are using this list to write that Zaev is the "8th prime minister of North Macedonia", but unless this appellation can be verified in reliable, published sources, it is original research. I did a web search, and the only things I could find led back to Wikipedia. Unless sources can be found, the numbering scheme should be removed. Anachronistic heading[edit]

I know that talking about anything related to this country's name is wading into a minefield, but it really doesn't make sense to have the heading "North Macedonia" at the top of the table of PMs beginning in 1990, since nobody used that name before 2019.
