Context needed[edit]

The lead of this article claims that Oprah's endorsement of Obama was a big deal because, amongst other reasons, 'she had never before endorsed a candidate'. But there isn't a source for that specific claim. Can anyone find one that supports it? Is it actually true that Obama in 2008 was the first time Oprah had publicly endorsed any political candidate?
