B-class review[edit]

This article has come a long way in the last year, and is clearly no longer a stub. I've assessed it at C-class and to give some ideas on ways it can still be improved, I have had a quick look over it compared to the B-class criteria.

  • Referencing & citations: The article is well-referenced for its length. The reference format is rather unusual, I'm not sure whether this is a problem or not.
  • Coverage & accuracy: I think this is the main area for improvement, the current article is very focussed on the failure. Would it be possible to add some information on the spacecraft itself and the progress of the launch up to the failure.
  • Structure: Structure is fairly good, although would be useful to have sections on the spacecraft itself and the launch (aside from the failure).
  • Supporting materials: It would be nice to have a picture of the satellite in the infobox, and maybe a photo of the launch. Suitably-licensed images are usually available for most US weather satellites.

I hope this is useful for improving the article further, as a great job has been done so far. --W. D. Graham 10:50, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
