Venezuela Socialist Party[edit]

User talk:Pluma, why do you say that the article for Venezuela’s socialist party is unreliable? Lima Bean Farmer (talk) 01:27, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New England Journal of Medicine?[edit]

Hi everyone! The New England Journal of Medicine has published an editorial, authored by "The Editors", which, although it doesn't mention Trump or Biden by name, does condemn (fiercely) the current administration and does call for it to be terminated and replaced in the upcoming election.

Specifically:

Anyone else who recklessly squandered lives and money in this way would be suffering legal consequences. Our leaders have largely claimed immunity for their actions. But this election gives us the power to render judgment. Reasonable people will certainly disagree about the many political positions taken by candidates. But truth is neither liberal nor conservative. When it comes to the response to the largest public health crisis of our time, our current political leaders have demonstrated that they are dangerously incompetent. We should not abet them and enable the deaths of thousands more Americans by allowing them to keep their jobs.

Should NEJM therefore be included in the list of Biden's presidential campaign endorsements? Or does it not qualify, since it doesn't mention Biden's name or Trump's? Please advise, Masters of the Wikiverse. Thank you, HandsomeMrToad (talk) 22:22, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE: If we decide to add NEJM, it should probably go under "Magazines", and perhaps the heading should be expanded to "Magazines and Academic Journals", since Nature is already on the list. Yes? No? Ideas? HandsomeMrToad (talk) 22:29, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

They do not explicitly endorse Biden, just oppose Trump. They are listed in news media endorsements as endorsement of not Donald Trump. Unless explicitly stated, it should not be listed as an endorsement.Lima Bean Farmer (talk) 12:59, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The New England Journal of Medicine -- The Lancet[edit]

I miss The New England Journal of Medicine and The Lancet, unless The Lancet meant The Lancet Oncology in my source - the German wikipedia. But "Oncology" is not to be found on the whole page.
You find the entry on 4 scientific journals mentioned in detail here:
