Adding Dennis Hill[edit]
There is a missing victim on this page, his name was Dennis Hill from Middlesex.
Dennis Hill was 53 and had worked for the American University of Beirut on the Intensive Engliash Language Program since October 1984. Dennis Hill was an MI6 agent:

Hill was shot several times in the head on May 30th 1985. According to AP via the Gainesville Sun on May 30th 1985, Islamic Jihad claimed responsibilty:

Hill was allegedly an MI6 agent, investigating the kidnapping of the CIA Station Head, William Buckley, amongst other duties.[1] [2]

John McCarthy[edit]

1992 Film Hostages[edit]
I deleted the link in the "Popular Culture" section relating to the 1992 film Hostages as it linked to an article for an unrelated 1943 World War II film. It's a shame because the 1992 film was a real masterpiece. Beetfarm Louie (talk) 23:10, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

What about the Lebanese themselves?[edit]
What does it say about us, all of us, that I don't see a single reference in this article to the estimated 17,000 Lebanese hostages? Many of them were not released until long after the war ended, and many remain unaccounted for (presumably by this point they never will be). The title doesn't say "Lebanon foreign hostage crisis". I think it shames humanity that this article was written by (I assume) several people, and no-one ever thought about those people.
