Perhaps the article should mention that the church is also used by the Roman Catholic congregation, served by the RC parish priest of Appleby.

The "Loki Stone" is an important example of Norse influence in the area rather than merely a church monument. In my view this should still be included in the reduced article on Kirkby Stephen, together with the photo (and should be noted in the new article, with a link to the Kirkby Stephen article).

Page heading[edit]

The heading for this page should be Kirkby Stephen Parish Church. As you noted in your history section, it does not have a dedication. If indeed it is "often called St Stephen's" that's probably because your title is the first thing that comes up when you do a google search on "Kirkby Stephen church"! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dana Shotton (talk • contribs) 14:10, 10 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
