Ken Rutherford is ambigue, there also a researcher in political science who last two legs in a landmine accident in Somalia.

A bit of trivia[edit]

Rutherford was Brian Close's last first-class wicket. At the age of 55, he had Rutherford caught behind in this match at the end of the 1986 English season at Scarborough. Loganberry (Talk) 15:12, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slow runner[edit]

Ken was possibly the slowest man ever to play first class cricket. There is some film of him running on Youtube: he looks like he is wearing diving boots. Once at the MCG, when he was fielding at long off, it took the whole tea interval for him to reach the pavilion gate. Slower than Mark Richardson? That would take some doing! And since the tea interval lasts 20 minutes, I have my doubts about that second story too.
