You may be correct, but the only English language source to comment on the party's name is Haaretz, which has stated it will be called Wamab. Until there are some English language sources stating what the name is, Wamab is the only option we have. I have no problem moving the article once that is the case. Ballot slips used in Israeli elections

I watched the Israeli Television yesterday and Ayman Odeh was saying that ומב (Wamab) are the letters on the ballot paper (and indeed he said that it means spark in Arabic). Letters chosen on the ballot paper in Israel are merely for identification and not the name of the party (for example labor has אמת "Emet", lit. truth on their ballot paper). This is different from their party's name (eventually, both the name and the chosen letters apear on the ballot paper). @Ely1: I don't doubt that the list is called that in Hebrew or Arabic. The issue is that we don't have any sources in English stating the alliance's name, meaning we don't know if it will be translated as "Joint List" or simply be "HaReshima HaMeshutefet" or "al-Qayemet al-Meshterket". Oh sorry. didn't read well what you wrote. The point is that the "Wamab" is a mistake by any case... it is not the name by any shape or form - only the letters, whatever the translation of "The joint list"/"joint Ticket" will be. Yes, it almost certainly is a mistake, but we don't actually know what the party's name is in English yet (משותף can be translated in a number of ways - "joint", "common", "shared" etc), so moving it is pointless until we do know. Number 57 10:09, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Recent results

So is there some precedent I don't know about for adding the current election results? Must we wait for the numbers to be certified? Just wondering why my edit was rolledback. I was just dropping the stats from https://votes22.bechirot.gov.il/. Per that, the official results won't be published till the... 25th. That seems like an awful long time to leave a page with TBD, since the pageviews are going to be at their highest right around now. Perhaps, just a seat number, with a note that it's preliminary. Obviously, no hard feelings either way.

Its simply the case that results should not be updated until they are confirmed. For the seat total, this is usually within a day or two. For the vote total, it's a bit longer. There is no rush to do this, and editors trying to get there first just create more work by inserting figures that are soon out-of-date. People need to have some patience. This election seems to have been worse that previously and next time it would be much better if all the relevant articles were semi-protected for a week from election day to stop this.
