Essay like content[edit]

The article reads like a college essay and NOT like an encyclopaedia article. I'm tempted to revert all the recent edits but don't want to lose student any marks, whoever set the project has not understood how Wikipedia works. Theroadislong (talk) 14:04, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Amerindians"[edit]

Now, I wouldn't complain if this was an American article considering that country doesn't care the least about treating indigenous peoples with respect, but it isn't. WHY does this article use a disgusting, outdated term like "Amerindian" and not "Indigenous" (or even better, a non blanket term)? I was going to just straight up spend time tonight editing every single reference out myself, but I'm at least rational enough to leave a post on this talk page for now.
