The "Career beginnings" section states:
"She became known for a parody of Taylor Swift's song "I Knew You Were Trouble", inspired by Swift's relationship with Harry Styles." However, Swift was dating Styles at the time of the song's release. The song is most likely about Swift's toxic relationship with John Mayer.
Am I only allowed to add factual information about their broken toe if it's from the media? I added a lot of information and added temporary references to be replaced by articles. All of it was taken out because Wikipedia doesn't do social media sources (even temporary ones to be replaced), I guess even if it holds evidence of it being true. I sort of understand why but I feel like if you can see from the reference that this happened it shouldn't be an issue. News may not report everything which means Wikipedia could be missing information because of the rules? There are a lot of rules and I may have missed/misinterpreted some so I think I'll just edit Halsey's Fandom Wiki, cause I'd cause a lot of disruption here.

I have only just seen this response because I forgot about making it. I appreciate that you responded with two pages for me to look at. I'm also very confused about "Astonishingly, it is not exactly about you personally", because I never said or implied that this was about me. Wikipedia can be a very confusing place and I do expect some people to have compassion and understanding and to address an issue without snark unless someone is actively attacking that person. I read WP:BLP for Self-published sources and was confused because there's nothing there that makes me understand why what I added was removed. I then read WP:Verifiability for Self-published sources and found nothing there (unless I am really missing something). I read WP:NOT and still don't understand how what I added was removed. Then I checked the reason for a removal and the person who removed it stated "WP:RSPTWITTER, WP:GUNREL". I checked both links and understand it was something related to using their social media as a source, there are rules around it, times when you can and can't use social media and that is the part that is confusing for me. I didn't (and still don't) understand why using Halsey's social media that is verified and doesn't provide speculation, gossip or unreliable unverified information is considered grounds for removal. Using Halsey's social media was actually temporary and to be replaced with verified news articles as I did note in an edit. Also to note I was not trying to be snarky in my original comment of editing Halsey's Fandom Wiki, I was expressing that rules wise, it's harder to edit here. TLDR: I read the suggested rules (WP:BLP, WP:NOT, WP:RSPTWITTER, WP:GUNREL) and I don't entirely understand why using Halsey's social media (sometimes you can use it, sometimes you can't?) in the way I did fits the ground for removal, I may just not be understanding it. I did expect compassion in the response, and was not trying to be snarky in the last line of my original comment, just expressing that it's hard to edit here with confusing rules.Sawhitney36 (talk) 06:34, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
'Halsey' named after the L train in Brooklyn[edit]
Under Notes, it says "There are, in fact, two Halsey Street stations in Brooklyn: one station is on the L train, and the other is on the J train. In a Rolling Stone interview, Halsey did not clarify which station she based her name on", the Rolling Stone interview was in 2016. In an interview with Vice in 2014 (https://www.vice.com/en/article/rkqqqn/halsey-interview-2014-57a206a6d94919df6669135e), in the first paragraph it states "Frangipane named her alter-ego after a subway stop, after frequent journeys on Brooklyn’s L-train", I'm wondering if this is good enough to confirm that it's the L train?
